Kylie Jenner's Billionaire Scam Is Some of Kris Jenner's Best Work According to Fans

We all know the saying: “The Devil works hard, but Kris Jenner works harder,” but the momager seems to have outdone herself this time. The KarJenners are hardly strangers to a scandal or seven, but their most recent scandal just might take the cake. For months, the KarJenner’s have been boasting non-stop that the youngest of their clan, Kylie Jenner, is the “youngest self-made billionaire” in history. But, Forbes recently revoked that title from the 22-year-old.

Why Kylie Jenner was never a self-made billionaire or millionaire

When Forbes first announced that Kylie was the youngest self-made billionaire on the globe, people had plenty of concerns. The largest of which was the fact that the 22-year-old could hardly be considered self-made. As she came from a wealthy family (both of her parents are multi-millionaires) the title of self-made seemed like a huge reach. While Kris maintained that her daughter used all of her own money to start Kylie Cosmetics, that wasn’t exactly true.

Kylie’s seed money was comprised of funds she made from public appearances, modeling gigs, starring in her family’s reality show, etc. If not for her family’s wealth, she never would have had the platform, influence, or money to accrue her own. This inherently means that she was never actually the “self-made” mogul that the media and her mother made her out to be. But, it seems that Kris fudged the truth about her youngest daughter’s success on more than one occasion.

Forbes calls out Kris Jenner for overinflating her daughter’s net worth

On May 29, 2020, Forbes released an article stripping Kylie of her billionaire status. They argued that Kylie and Kris had overinflated the value of Kylie’s brand, Kylie Cosmetics, in order to appear richer and more successful. They accused Kris of forging tax returns to leverage a higher status and a higher sales price for shares of Kylie Cosmetics.

Naturally, people had wildly different reactions to learning that Kylie is not, in fact, a billionaire. Some people were outraged by the lie while others weren’t surprised at all. The Kardashian/Jenner clan is famous for making something out of nothing, so overinflating their own success is hardly off-brand for them. Some people, however, seem to be in awe over Kris’s PR skills. After all, if not for her infamous spin, Kylie never would have gained the astronomical wealth that she holds today.

‘KUWTK’ fans on Twitter are impressed with the momager’s PR skills

“So based on what I just read, Forbes is now pissed that behind their lazy journalism. Kris Jenner hoodwinked them into believing Kylie’s business was worth 3x its value and they rode that lie towards the sunset in an overpriced sale of 51% of the equity, Kris Jenner is a GENIUS. And after she pockets what’s now 2/3 of her now real net worth on the back of billionaire status given to her by Forbes, Forbes is angry and exposing the lieeesss,” one fan wrote on Twitter, clearly in awe of Kris’s manipulation skills.

At the time of this article, Kris has yet to address these claims. Kylie, on the other hand, has stated that she never asked for her billionaire status and that there were more important things to worry about. Considering the young mom’s newly adjusted net worth, we can think of 900 million other things that she’s focused on.

5 Bizarre Video Games Featuring Professional Athletes

At this point, professional sports and video games are intertwined. Baseball, basketball, football, soccer, and almost every other major sports have video games in which players at home can be their favorite athletes.

Sometimes, however, these video games are a far cry from the sport they play for money. Throughout history, there have been several bizarre attempts to use athletes to sell different types of games.

‘Shaq Fu’ combined Shaquille O’Neal and martial arts

One of the most infamous failures in gaming history, Shaquille O’Neal never shied away from exploring the limits of his superstardom. With platinum rap albums and several films under his belt, O’Neal decided to use his NBA star power to release a game, but it wasn’t a basketball game. The results would go down in infamy.

Shaq Fu was a fighting game that saw O’Neal on a quest through a fantastic world to rescue a young boy named Nezu. It was a critical failure.

However, the game developed a cult following thanks to its bizarre nature, and in 2018 a new edition of the game called Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn was released. While still poorly reviewed, it was not as infamous as its predecessor.

‘Michael Jordan: Chaos in the Windy City’ had Jordan rescue his teammates

RELATED: ‘Space Jam’ Wasn’t the Only Move Michael Jordan Appeared In

Michael Jordan refused to sign on to the Players’ Association at the height of his NBA career. This meant that the Chicago Bulls superstar was withheld from several classic basketball franchises. Those who wanted to be the greatest basketball player of all time could scratch that itch thanks to Michael Jordan: Chaos in the Windy City

The game was less NBA Jam and more Super Mario Bros, as players guided Jordan through a journey to rescue his captured teammates and fight a variety of creatures along the way.

Jordan used his basketballs as weapons, and like Shaq Fu, the game now has a special spot in the heart of many ’90s kids who bought it at the height of his celebrity.

‘Bill Laimbeer’s Combat Basketball’ combined basketball and fisticuffs

Unlike Shaq Fu and Chaos in the Windy City, Bill Laimbeer’s video game was a basketball game — sort of. Bill Laimbeer’s Combat Basketball combined basketball and combat, both of which were staples of his career. It was a remarkably violent event in the history of gaming, but memorable because of it.

The game’s aesthetic looked more like something out of a Mad Max movie than an NBA arena, and while it wasn’t well-received, it is a nostalgic hit with fans everywhere.

‘Blitz: The League’ featured NFL players, drugs, and strippers

RELATED: Former NFL Player Antonio Cromartie Must Pay $336,000 per Year to Support 8 of His 14 Kids

Blitz: The League is, by all means, a sports video game. A simple look at the cover might even trick the casual fan into thinking that they were buying a run-of-the-mill football game.

What made this game different was the story around its football play. After losing the NFL licensing due to Madden’s exclusivity, Midway wanted to continue the hard-hitting style of the predecessor.

Free from any censorship that might come with a family league, Blitz: The League made a darker video game in which bones were shown snapping thanks to X-Ray vision, steroids as a means to mend a variety of gruesome and more profanity than the average movie. To make it more official, the game employed retired NFL players like Bill Romanowski and Lawrence Taylor to voice doppelgängers for the gritty game.

The game was a big enough success to warrant a sequel, but the Blitz brand went back to a family-friendly NFL product before disappearing forever.

‘SpongeBob at Bat’

On the opposite end of the spectrum from Blitz: The League, Nicktoons MLB looked to get a younger audience hooked on baseball. They did so by mashing up the worlds of SpongeBob SquarePants, Ren and Stimpy, Avatar: The Last Airbender with Major League Baseball. The result was a bizarre mix of cartoon antics and real-life baseball.

While the makers of the game may have hoped they had a hit on their hands, the game was never a big enough success to warrant any franchises. What remains, however, is a strange look at what happens when two different worlds collide.

Billie Eilish is speaking out again following the death of George Floyd and she is slamming anyone who supports the “All Lives Matter” movement.

The 18-year-old Grammy-winning singer posted a lengthy essay on her Instagram page on Saturday morning (May 30).

“I’ve been trying to take this week to figure out a way to address this delicately. I have an enourmous [sic] platform and I try really hard to be respectful and take time to think through what I say and how I say it… But holy f–king shit I’m gonna just start talking,” Billie began the essay.

She continued, “If I hear one more person say ‘aLL liVeS maTtEr’ one more f–king time I’m gonna lose my f–king mind. Will you shut the f–k uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup???? No one is saying your life doesn’t matter. No one is saying your life is not hard.”

Near the end of the letter, she pointed out the purpose of the Black Lives Matter movement.

“The slogan #BlackLivesMatter does not mean other lives don’t. It’s calling attention to the fact that society clearly thinks black lives don’t fucking matter!!!!! And they fucking do!!!!!” she said.

Brooks Laich Talked Dating in Social Media Age Before Julianne Hough Split

Coming to terms.Brooks Laich opened about modern dating practices just two days before announcing his split from Julianne Hough.

During an episode of his “How Men Think with Brooks Laich & Gavin DeGraw” podcast, the 36-year-old NHL alum opened up about his thoughts on posting “thirst trap” to social media. “I just asked my buddy about this before we started the show,” Laich explained on Wednesday, May 27. “He said he was using the term in 2014. I have no idea guys how I have missed this boat.”

After gaining “recent knowledge” on the concept, Laich believes that thirst traps “are not real life.” He considered them to be “poser shots that you’re just casting out bait for double clicks on your profile.”

The Canada native continued to discuss the social media practice by explaining how he intends to use his own digital platform. “I’m so behind on the social media game and just like intent on it. I use my platform to try and add value. That’s why I do this show. That’s why I use my platform and then I show things I love,” he explained. “But I never had social media until I was in a relationship. I never ever in my life played that kind of a game with social media.”

He added, “Mine was always to engage with people and see how I could add value to their lives, and bring attention to good causes and charities and things”

Laich and the Dancing With the Stars alum, 31, announced their split on Friday, May 29, after nearly three years of marriage. “We have lovingly and carefully taken the time we have needed to arrive at our decision to separate,” they said in a joint statement to People. “We share an abundance of love and respect for one another and will continue to lead with our hearts from that place. We kindly request your compassion and respect for our privacy moving forward.”

Shortly before the breakup was confirmed, Us Weekly exclusively revealed that the estranged pair were “not doing well” in their marriage. They had also been quarantining in separate states amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Us also broke the news that Hough and Laich had entered a rough patch at the beginning of the year. In March, the retired athlete and the former America’s Got Talent judge were “working through any issues they previously faced,” an insider shared with Us.

Hough and Laich wed in 2017. Though they never had kids, the former pair never intended to conceive after she froze her eggs to possibly undergo In vitro fertilization.

“We never actually tried to get pregnant,” she explained in her Women’s Health June 2020 cover story. “It was more of a precautionary measure: Let’s do our due diligence for the future by freezing eggs.”

Cody Simpson Looks Hotter Than Ever With Bulging Muscles & New Shaved Head — Pic

Cody Simpson is so sexy! The Australian star snuggled up to his new rescue dog Bo in two black-and-white photos snapped outdoors.

Cody Simpson, 23, has a new hair do! The singer showed off his new shaved head in a double Instagram post shared on Friday, May 29. Posing with his adorable rescue dog Bo — who he adopted with girlfriend Miley Cyrus, 27, in March — shirtless Cody appeared to be enjoying the California sun. His toned and defined arms were on full display in the snaps, proving he’s definitely been working on his fitness in quarantine!

Salty dogs

A post shared by Cody Simpson (@codysimpson) on

“Salty dogs,” the Prince Neptune: Poetry and Prose author captioned the images. Cody was casual in his backyard rocking a pair of black jeans, black Vans sneakers and a chic Chanel face mask we’re guessing he borrowed from Miley. While he didn’t tag a photographer (once again, we’re guessing Miley), the photos looked seriously magazine worthy despite being taken with just an iPhone!

The “Slide Away” singer shaved Cody’s hair in an at-home barber session on April 3! Like a pro, Miley expertly used an electric razor to help transform Cody’s untamed mane into a buzzcut, which he later showed off on his own Instagram. “Buzzin,” Cody captioned the video. “Clean cuts for the clean ocean, I say,” he added, shouting out a charitable cause.

Bo and Cody looked absolutely inseparable in the new photos, and we’re so glad to see the pup happy at his new home! “Baby boy Bo,” Cody posted back in March, dubbing the pooch his “sweet son.” The short-and-sweet name was inspired by Miley’s dad Billy Ray Cyrus, 58, who was nicknamed “Bo” back in high school.

Since hooking up last summer, Miley and Cody have been joined at the hip! The couple have been quarantined together since California’s stay-at-home order went into effect, and appear more in-love than ever. In an Instagram live video from April 2, Cody even shared a romantic poem he wrote for Miley from his new book. “In the ancient night, she flies once more. Back to the sun and the stars. I try to chase her there but fall short, for I cannot breathe that high in the radiant heavens where she lingers,” he said.

“I can only admire from below, humble, starry-eyed poet with a desire for that which is most beautiful. And she is most beautiful. All other beauties sleep in winter forests. She is the one who swims in the sun and doesn’t try up,” he went on. Miley was taken aback by the sweet gesture, gushing, “Aww, I love you babe!”

Hill Harper Expresses Regret for ‘Horrible Error’ in Calling Dwyane Wade’s Daughter ‘Young Man’

The actor playing Dr. Marcus Andrews on ‘The Good Doctor’ is met with backlash for the birthday message he sent Zaya in the comment section of her stepmother Gabrielle Union’s tribute post.

AceShowbizHill Harper is owning up to his mistake in misgendering Dwyane Wade‘s daughter. Shortly after catching heat for referring to Zaya Wade as a young man when wishing her a happy birthday, the actor known for his portrayal of Dr. Marcus Andrews on “The Good Doctor” came forward with an apology.

“I would like to apologize for my post. I am responsible for what gets posted and I made a horrible error,” the 54-year-old actor wrote in a lengthy statement he posted on Instagram Story. “I misgendered my friend’s child and I am so sorry to Zaya and the entire Wade family. It was not my intention to misgender and misrepresent her in any way. I celebrate Zaya.”

The “For Colored Girls” actor continued to note he has “no malicious intent” with his controversial post. “As a family friend I feel so bad that I may have taken away from the celebration. Zaya’s courage and strength is something I celebrate,” he explained. “I am human and I am learning and often trying to do too many things which leads to mistakes like this one. I am sorry.”

Offering another apology to “those my post offended,” Hill added, “There are many challenging things going on in the world right now and I certainly didn’t intend my birthday wish to be a negative distraction and certainly didn’t want it to take away from a celebratory birthday for Zaya.” In the end, he concluded, “I extend my heartfelt apology to Zaya, the Wade family.”

Hill Harper offered apology for misgendering Zaya Wade

Hill sparked backlash when he responded to Gabrielle Union‘s heartfelt tribute to Zaya celebrating her 13th birthday. In the comment section of her post, the former “CSI: NY” star wrote, “Happy Birthday young man!! Read ‘Letters to a Young Brother’!!! Your mom wrote something in it!! You’ll love it! Have a great day!!”

Hill Harper referred to Zaya as young man in his birthday message

Many quickly noted that Hill referred to Zaya as a male instead of a female, prompting them to express their outrage online. A number of social media users deemed his birthday message to the teen, “disgusting,” “blatantly disrespectful” and “full of malice.” One in particular condemned him for having “the nerve to do that under HER comment section.”

Gabrielle’s post for Zaya itself saw a sweet photo of them together. Along with it, she wrote, “Happy Birthday baby!!! I can’t believe you are 13!! @zayawade you are such an inspiration and motivation to get my butt up everyday and fight. When I’m weary, frustrated, full of rage, I see your face and your joy and you living your best life and I want that for all of us. I love you sooooo much kid!!”

Zaya, who was previously known as Zion, is Dwyane’s second child with former wife Siohvaughn Funches. Her transgender identity was made public by her retired basketball player father during an interview on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in February. He stated at the time, “(It was) our job as parents to listen to that, to give them the best information we can, to give the best feedback we can.”

Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich: It’s Over!

For months, Brooks Laich and Julianne Hough have hinted at divorce, building up what we can only describe as “hype” for their looming split.

Now, it’s really over.

On Friday, May 29, Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich released a joint statement to People.

“We have lovingly and carefully taken the time we have needed to arrive at our decision,” their statement begin.

Together, they have concluded that it is best if they proceed “to separate.”

For months, we’ve seen that this could be on the horizon, but it was anyone’s guess if they would actually split.

“We share an abundance of love and respect for one another,” the joint statement goes on to affirm.

“And,” they vow, they “will continue to lead with our hearts from that place.”

“We kindly request your compassion,” the statement asks, “and respect for our privacy moving forward.”

This is an understandably delicate time for them both.

As we mentioned, the days of their marriage have appeared to be numbered for some time.

Back in April, Julianne herself admitted that they were struggling.

That post went up on April 17.

We’re not accusing anyone of anything, but literally the day before, she had been spotted out on a walk with the outrageously handsome Ben Barnes.

Back in early January, after a series of posts and statements from both of them, fans knew that there were “problems” at play.

It had been hoped that they had, in the ensuing weeks and months, managed to iron out their issues.

After all, the key to addressing issues begins with talking about them, right?

And by March, sources were claiming that the pair were “fine.”

In the first week of January, Brooks openly reflected about reevaluating his life and how he sees himself.

“I feel like a lot of my life has been ‘bound’ to certain identities,” he acknowledged.

Brooks stated that many of these were identities “that have come through the sport I spent my life playing.”

“Canadian, male, hockey player, disciplined, competitive, etc…,” he listed.

“And though I am all of those things,” Brooks freely admitted, “they do not define me.”

“And,” he added, “I am not bound by them.”

“In 2020 I look forward to releasing old identities,” Brooks affirmed.

He continued: “and stepping into a new chapter in my life.”

“I’m now not an athlete, I’m not playing hockey,” Brooks discussed.

“So what does life look like now?” he asked. “There’s still a figuring-out process of a new identity for myself.”

”Also with my wife, our relationship,” Brooks wrote.

He explained: “It’s a new identity for our relationship as well.”

He was certainly right about that.

That same first week of 2020 was also when Julianne was spotted going without her ring.

Sometimes, spouses go without rings, but only rarely — and this is even rarer for public figures.

Two and a half years after tying the knot, their marriage appeared to be frayed at the edges.

Last September, Julianne came out as “not straight” publicly.

“I think there’s a safety with my husband now that I’m unpacking all of this,” she shared

“There’s no fear of voicing things that I’ve been afraid to admit,” Julianne stated, “or that I’ve had shame or guilt about.”

We wish them both the best as their personal journeys of self-discovery continue, if separately.

Waka Flocka Flame Blasts Violent Minnepolis Riots

Taking to his Instagram account, the rapper shares his perspective on the protest only to get slammed by fans as one of them deems it ‘unwanted opinions.’

AceShowbizWaka Flocka Flame is weighing in on the current events in the wake of the death of George Floyd, a black man who died after being suffocated by Minnepolis police officer. The incident enraged people and prompted riots in the city. Taking to his Instagram account, the rapper shared his perspective on the matter.

In a Thursday, May 28 Instagram Story post, Waka wondered, “Why let these kids in America grow up with fear for the cops?” In a separate post, he appeared to blast people going violent while protesting in Minnepolis.

He wrote, “Why trash the your neighborhoods? Looting is not Justice that’s criminal.” Additionally, he urged everyone to “stay on task!!”

Fans were not impressed by his opinions. A fan dismissed his thoughts by saying, “Waka been giving his unwanted opinions a lot lately.” Another fan hotly responded, “I love how we’re expected to be professional protestors. Stop trying to correct the reaction CORRECT THE PROBLEM!”

“Riots lead to social reform because the system doesn’t care when we do it peacefully so we result to destructiveness so when we start to destroy America they’ll listen burn it all up in my opinion then they will listen like it or not rioting is effective,” another user chimed in.

Someone else added, “white ppl burned down black business, churches, and towns, but y’all steady whining about target? as if a man wasn’t killed on camera. really?”

Waka’s opinion on the riot was in contrary to Cardi B‘s. The “Bodak Yellow” raptress previously defended the protesters, tweeting earlier in the day, “They looting in Minnesota and as much as I don’t like this type of violence it is what it is. Too much peaceful marches, too much trending hashtags and NO SOLUTIONS! The people are left with NO CHOICE.”
