Peter Weber Breaks His Silence on Those Kelley Flanagan Rumors

Straight from the source! Peter Weber spoke out for the first time about the romance rumors surrounding him and Kelley Flanagan.

“Are we dating? No. Do I love spending time with her? Absolutely,” the former Bachelor, 28, said on Nick Viall’s podcast, “The Viall Files,” on Tuesday, April 7. “We’re not dating. Could I see that in the future? Yeah, of course. I’d be extremely lucky and very happy if that happened.”

That said, Weber acknowledged he is “the last person that needs to rush into any kind of relationship” on the heels of his splits from Hannah Ann Sluss and Madison Prewett.

“I just had an engagement [with Hannah Ann] that didn’t work out. I just was trying to pursue things with another woman [Madison] that didn’t work out,” he said. “That’s why right now I’m just taking it really, really slow.”

The pilot reminded listeners that his “serendipitous” relationship with Flanagan, 27, started before his stint as the Bachelor season 24 lead when they had a run-in at a hotel. Then, they headed to the Bachelor mansion, where the attorney was one of the 30 women who competed for Weber’s heart. She finished in fifth place, while he went on to propose to Sluss, 23, only to call off their engagement and briefly reunite with Prewett, 24.

Weber revealed on Tuesday that he ran into Flanagan twice after filming wrapped: first in Miami on February 1, the night before the Super Bowl, and again “a couple weeks ago” while hanging out with their mutual friend, Bachelor in Paradise alum Kristian Haggerty.

“I see Kelley again … jaw drops,” the Bachelorette alum told Viall, 39. “We chat, we end up hanging out and that’s when I got her number. We started to communicate and just stay in touch.”

Shortly after, Weber flew to Chicago to “spend some time with” Flanagan. They have been quarantined at her apartment ever since — with fellow Bachelorette alum Dustin Kendrick — amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“It kind of just became a thing where we’ve always gotten along really well and had really good chemistry,” the Westlake Village, California, native said. “We just enjoy each other’s company.”

Weber also appeared on Rachel Lindsay and Becca Kufrin’s podcast, “Bachelor Happy Hour,” on Tuesday, and told the hosts that Flanagan has a three-bedroom apartment so they are staying in separate rooms.

When Lindsay, 34, asked the Delta Air Lines employee whether he feels closer to Flanagan than he did to Sluss or Prewett, he answered in the affirmative without hesitation.

“You get to know someone quick like this,” he replied. “I’ve definitely gotten to know her very well — everything that kind of makes her tick and just, like, annoys her and all that stuff. It’s been good.”

Liam Payne opens up on mental health for podcast with Jordan Stephens

Liam Payne has opened up about his mental health in a conversation with Jordan Stephens and surprised the podcast host with how ‘sensitive’ he really is behind the scenes.

Former Rizzle Kicks star Jordan is currently hosting season two of Killing It, a Spotify Original podcast, which sees him sitting down with musicians to talk about mental health issues.

An upcoming episode features a chat with ex One Direction star Liam, and it’s safe to say, it was an eye-opening discussion for Jordan.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk about his chat with the pop star, Jordan revealed: ‘I learned that Liam is I think a lot more sensitive [than he comes across].

‘I don’t think he’s trying to portray himself as having a lack of sensitivity but I think he has a lot more weight on his shoulders and an incredible expectation.

‘I think again like everybody, he wants to be a certain version of himself. It was really powerful to hear him speak candidly about how much strength it takes to maintain an expectation of yourself that you’re comfortable with.’

Jordan added: ‘To hear that from a member of the biggest boy band in the world is really important and powerful. I think we could have got more, the conversation could have doubled in length. I can’t imagine what it’s like to be in his shoes at the moment.’

As well as talking through how he dealt with fame being in One Direction, one of the world’s biggest boy band, Liam opens up about the reaction to his debut solo album LP1 which earned some criticism.

‘He’s had bad reviews of his album since and I came out of that podcast going, “I just wish there was more of an accessible understanding of him rather than it being this statue that anyone can chip away at”,’ Jordan explained.

‘He’s a human being the same as everyone else and that’s what I felt.’

Jordan continued: ‘These feelings, these pressures almost always result in some kind of consequence and if he feels that he’s developed some kind of inner strength, then that’s really admirable and something that can help a lot of people.

‘But that’s for him to know.’

The podcast host can relate to Liam’s struggles following his rise to stardom as one half of Rizzle Kicks in 2011.

Alongside Harley Sylvester Alexander-Sule, the group earned four top 10 singles including the hit song Down With The Trumpets.

Jordan has since gone on to host the ITV2 game series Don’t Hate The Playaz with Maya Jama and is set to release a series of books in 2021.

The Killing It podcast will also feature an in-depth chat with former Sugababes singer Mutya Buena, who left the group in 2005 after much chart success.

Recalling her mental health discussion, Jordan said: ‘I was taken aback by the hand that Mutya has been dealt. She has had really, really been through it and there were points listening to that conversation with Petra where I felt heartbroken.

‘Not because of where she’s at, she is who she is, and she’s incredibly talented and incredibly open which is a blessing. But I think she got famous at 14 and she got really put through it. And it’s just another example of the way in which the public has developed this kind of bizarre barrier between fame and humanity.’

‘I would never ever, ever put someone through what she went through.’

Relating to his own experience with fame, Jordan explained: ‘The overwhelming [thread] between these conversations is, one of the things I was told when I first became famous, is that you should never complain about fame, just don’t complain about it.

‘Because people won’t get it. People who were working their asses off every day, in a little flat, or whatever else with a little family and they’re getting f*****g crushed by the government, they’re not gonna want to listen to someone with a record deal saying that it’s really difficult.’

He added: ‘They just don’t want to hear it and I think that whilst that has some truth in it, I think that has forced a lot of people to harbour genuine grief and genuine sadness, and I think there should be a space to hear that.’

Jordan Stephens hosts series two of Killing It. Available to listen to exclusively on Spotify now.

Kate Garraway sends love to Boris Johnson as husband battles COVID-19

Kate Garraway sends well wishes to Boris Johnson as her husband Derek also battles coronavirus in intensive care

  • Boris Johnson was admitted to intensive care at St Thomas’ Hospital on Monday
  • The 55-year-old was transferred to intensive care at 7pm because of breathing difficulties
  • Kate sent the Prime Minister wishes of a speedy recovery as he battles COVID-19
  • The GMB’s presenter’s husband Derek is also in ICU battling coronavirus
  • Kate is self-isolating at home with their two children

Kate Garraway has sent her well wishes to Prime Minister Boris Johnson after it was announced he has been admitted to intensive care at St Thomas’ Hospital on Monday night.

The Good Morning Britain presenter, 52, was among thousands who commented on Piers Morgans’ Instagram post of a picture of Boris, 55, and his pregnant fiancée Carrie Symonds at No 10 Downing Street.

It comes after it was confirmed last week, Kate’s husband Derek has also been admitted to intensive care with coronavirus after becoming very ill.

Kate Garraway has sent her well wishes to Prime Minister Boris Johnson after it was announced he has been admitted to intensive care at St Thomas’ Hospital

Piers wrote: ‘If you’re not rooting for our Prime Minister tonight & willing him to make a speedy recovery, then you’re a despicable human being.

‘He is very ill with a deadly virus & his pregnant partner has also been sick. Incredibly worrying time for them & the country. Come on Boris’

Kate commented: ‘Get well Boris x’.

Health: Boris was moved to ICU at St Thomas’ Hospital in central London and given oxygen after his health deteriorated sharply over just two hours on Monday night (pictured last week)

Support: The GMB presenter, 52, was among thousands who commented on Piers Morgans’ Instagram post of a picture of Boris, 55, and his pregnant fiancée Carrie Symonds

Sending her well wishes: Kate commented: ‘Get well Boris x’.

Boris was moved to ICU at St Thomas’ Hospital in central London and given oxygen after his health deteriorated sharply over just two hours, leaving doctors fearing he will need a ventilator.

Boris was transferred to intensive care at 7pm because of breathing difficulties – forcing him to ‘deputise’ Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab to take the reins of government.

The PM’s sharp downturn came 11 days after he first suffered coronavirus symptoms and went into isolation. He looked increasingly unwell when glimpsed in public and in ‘selfie’ videos posted on on social media, and ministers were then shocked by his grim appearance at a Zoom conference on Sunday.

Concerns: Just days ago, the presenter voiced her fears on GMB meeting with Prince Charles before he tested positive for coronavirus (pictured at the Prince’s Trust Awards on March 11)

Downing Street sources confirmed Boris is not yet on a ventilator – but was moved to intensive care to be near one if needed. Some medical experts forecasting this course of action is now ‘very likely’.

Two thirds of patients in intensive care with coronavirus are sedated and put on a ventilator within 24 hours of arriving as the illness attacks their lungs.

It comes as Kate is reportedly ‘sick with worry’ as husband Derek battles COVID-19 in intensive care, after being admitted to the hospital a week ago and testing positive for the virus.

Kate, 52, who hasn’t been tested but is displaying ‘mild symptoms’ is self-isolating at home with their two children – Darcey, 14, and William (Bill), ten.

Just days ago, the presenter voiced her fears on Good Morning Britain after meeting with Prince Charles before he tested positive for coronavirus.

She spoke about their encounter live on air, revealing that the pair had got ‘relatively close’ at the Prince’s Trust Awards on March 11.

Kate’s spokesperson told MailOnline: ‘Kate’s husband, Derek Draper, has been taken to hospital and is being treated in intensive care with a confirmed case of COVID-19.

He was admitted on Monday and has since tested positive for the virus.

‘Kate, hasn’t been tested, however she has also been displaying mild symptoms, also since Monday, and as a result has been on strict isolation with her children at home.’

Expressing their support: Susanna Reid and Piers  paid tribute to Kate ‘s husband Derek Draper during Monday’s edition of Good Morning Britain, as he continues to battle COVID-19

A source added to The Sun: ‘This is a desperate situation for Kate who is sick with worry about Derek’s health.

‘She is obviously off TV too. Everyone at GMB is so worried for her.’

Kate shared a video of herself clapping for the NHS on Thursday night where she said her family had an ‘extra special reason’ to clap for our carers.

She wrote: ‘We had a an extra special reason to #clapthecarers in our house tonight but there’s a special reason for us all isn’t there.

‘Thank thank you to all the health workers caring for our loved ones and key workers keeping our lives going [clapping emojis] you are incredible.’

Tiger King 'hero' Saff reveals he was misgendered in hit documentary

‘I’ve always gone by “him”‘: Tiger King ‘hero’ Saff reveals he was misgendered in hit documentary… as critics SLAM Netflix for failing to recognise identity and bisexuality in shock series

  • Kelci Saffery, a standout star of Netflix hit Tiger King, has revealed he was ‘misgendered’ in the documentary, as he identifies as a man
  • The zoo keeper, who goes by the name Saff has discussed the fact that he has been frequently misgendered as he goes by the pronouns ‘he/him’
  • He said: ‘I’ve always gone by ‘him’ since I could say that out loud. If people are asking me what I prefer, it’s very obvious what I prefer, and that’s he’
  • Aside from frustration over Saff’s gender, fans of the wildly-popular show pointed out that producers of the show failed to recognise bisexuality
  • The discussion was sparked around Joe Exotic’s polygamous marriage to ‘straight men’ Travis Maldonado and John Finlay

Kelci Saffery, a standout star of Netflix hit Tiger King, has revealed he was ‘misgendered’ in the documentary, as he identifies as a man.

The zoo keeper, who goes by the name Saff, was lauded as ‘the smartest person’ in the series and has since discussed the fact that he has been frequently misgendered as he goes by the pronouns ‘he/him’, which was not recognised.

Since the show – following the trade of exotic cats in America – debuted on the streaming service last month, critics have swarmed social media to blast producers for failing to address his gender and for ignorance towards bisexuality.

Shock: Kelci Saffery, a standout star of Netflix hit Tiger King, has revealed he was ‘misgendered’ in the documentary, as he identifies as a man

Tiger King has become the stand-out success of quarantine, in the midst of the global coronavirus pandemic, with the show following the story of Joseph Maldonado-Passage – also known as Joe Exotic – and the big cat trade.

Saff was a keeper at Joe’s Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park in Oklahoma, where viewers were left stunned by the story that he was mauled by a tiger in the park before optionally having his arm amputated and returning to work a week later.

While there were no standout comments on Saff’s gender identity, he revealed in interviews with Out magazine and Esquire that he had been misgendered – yet was characteristically unfazed by the issue.

Speaking to Out, he said: ‘I’ve always gone by ‘him’ since I could say that out loud. If people are asking me what I prefer, it’s very obvious what I prefer, and that’s he.

Hitting out: Since the show – following the trade of exotic cats in America – debuted on the streaming service last month, critics have swarmed social media to blast producers for failing to address his gender and for ignorance towards bisexuality

Standout: The show has been branded the ‘hit of quarantine’ amid widespread lockdowns in the midst of the global coronavirus pandemic

‘I’m not going to tell anyone what they need to or should call me. I think that everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, and I’m obviously as easygoing in that department as I can get.

‘I don’t think that I personally get offended I think others do. I think everyone should stand up for what they believe in. I just – it’s literally one of the last things that I really considered worrying about.’

Furthering his comments to Esquire, Saff went on: ‘On a daily basis, I am called 17 different things. I never really took it to heart. I love being able to speak on this…

‘Obviously it’s not something that I’ve even actively participated in ever, so, for context, my conversation with Rob was that he asked me, ‘What do you prefer? Saff or Kelci?’ And of course I said Saff because that’s what I’ve been called for the past 20 years.

Hearatche: Saff was a keeper at Joe’s Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park in Oklahoma, where viewers were left stunned by the story that he was mauled by a tiger in the park before optionally having his arm amputated and returning to work a week later

‘I was in the Army prior to the park and they always use last names. So, Saff was my preferred name. And I’ve always gone by ‘him’ since I could say that out loud. My family was always very supportive – it was never an issue.’

Viewers took to Twitter to vent over the misgendering penning: ‘I just found out that my favorite person, Saff, from Tiger King is actually a man and was just misgendered throughout the entire documentary. So huge shout out to this king!!!…

‘A reminder that Tiger King misgendered and misnamed Saff who is transgender. So really, f**k this s**t fest of a documentary…

‘The amount of misgendering towards Saff in Tiger King makes me sick… It’s upsetting how #TigerKing kept misgendering Saff and made no attempt to correctly identify his pronouns – also his coworkers that worked with him everyday, wtf’.

Resistance: Aside from frustration over Saff’s gender, fans of the wildly-popular show pointed out that producers of the show failed to recognise bisexuality when documenting Joe Exotic’s polygamous marriage to Travis Maldonado and John Finlay

Aside from frustration over Saff’s gender, fans of the wildly-popular show pointed out that producers of the show failed to recognise bisexuality when documenting Joe Exotic’s polygamous marriage to Travis Maldonado and John Finlay.

Joe joked that he ‘fell in love with straight men’, after the demise of their marriage when both men slept with women.

Yet many Twitter users alluded to the fact that the narrative failed to recognise bisexuality, despite the comments coming from subjects of the documentary rather than producers themselves.

Wrong thing: Furthering his comments to Esquire, Saff went on: ‘On a daily basis, I am called 17 different things. I never really took it to heart. I love being able to speak on this’

Users penned: ‘ my favorite part about tiger king is that apparently none of the people in this show know what bisexuality is…

#DescribeTigerKingIn5Words when you think netflix did some good with the coming out in stranger things then you realize they erase bisexuality and misgender a trans man on tiger king… The whole “Joe’s husbands are straight” argument is founded on the idea bisexuality doesn’t exist #TigerKing…

‘speaking of, @ me when you get to the episode of Tiger King where nobody’s heard of bisexuality… Incredibly annoying that #TigerKing never talks about the fact that there’s a thing as ~bisexuality’.

Shock: Joe’s relationships caused fans to question bisexuality recognition

Jackson Browne Drops New Song ‘A Little Soon To Say’

Jackson Browne released a new song, “A Little Soon to Say,” on March 29, a few days after revealing he tested positive for COVID-19.

The track is part of his upcoming album, which is due out on October 9.

Browne told Rolling Stone that he wrote the song well before the coronavirus pandemic, but he thought he would “‘Just do that now.’ Just put it out now, while these things are so uncertain.”

He noted that the song was inspired by other things happening in the world now, and that he was “thinking about the generation — the Parkland students, and Greta Thunberg, and the young people who have been very vocal, saying, ‘You’re not making any real attempt to change things in a way for us to have the planet you had.’ How do you pass this mess on to the next generation, the future generations?”

“I wanna see you holding out your light/I wanna see you light the way,” he sings. “But whether everything will be alright/It’s just a little soon to say.”

The song will appear as the B-side to his upcoming single, “Downhill From Everywhere,” which is scheduled for a vinyl and CD release on May 29.

Here’s the Deal With Florence Pugh and Zach Braff’s ’Ship for Everyone Who’s, Um, Curious

In the event that you are one of the many people suddenly and completely obsessed with Florence Pugh due to Little Women Feels™, kindly move over because my friends and I (a collection of Timothée Chalamet posters) are right there with you. Florence was hands down the best part of that entire perfect movie, so logically, she was nominated for a casual Academy Award. And whomst could have walked the Oscars red carpet with her, you ask? None other than, uh, *checks notes* Zach Braff, man who once starred in Scrubs.

Twenty-four-year-old Florence and 45-year-old Zach have a 21-year age difference between them (no, my math is not wrong, Zach just turned 45), and as a result, they’ve been dealing with a fair amount of backlash online. To wit:

when zach braff was thirty, florence pugh was 9 pic.twitter.com/SkDrgUYFvi

And, I mean, sure—it’s kinda weird to think about the fact that Florence was only 5 when the first season of Scrubs aired. But not our business! They seem happy! Anyway, if you are still in need of answers, we’ve put together a timeline of their relationship so you can consider boarding their ’ship.

Circa August 2018

Zach hops on ye olde Instagram and starts Liking Florence’s Instagram posts in earnest. Truly, there is no chill to be found.

Circa April 2019

Florence stars in Zach’s short film, In the Time It Takes to Get There. There’s no confirmation that this is how they originally fell for each other, buuut it seems like a possible starting point for their romance:

Either way, later that same month, the pair are seen holding hands in New York City, so looks like things definitely ~heated up~ at some point.

Circa August 2019

Florence and Zach are spotted on vacation with friends, and pics start making the rounds on Twitter’s many, many, many Florence-themed fan accounts:

April 6, 2020

Florence hits Instagram with a Zach Braff B-day message and strategically shuts all her comments off ahead of time. Probably wise!

Here’s what she wrote:

“Today we shall smile wider than the clouds are grey.
April 6th and we’re celebrating hard!
Happy Birthday wishes, boogies and cheers for this special person.
Raise those bubbles and jiggle!”

That just about brings us up to date, so prepare yourself for more now that they’re Insta official.
