Carrie Symonds has announced her and Boris Johnson's newborn son is named after the doctors who saved the Prime Minister's life during his battle with coronavirus.
The 32 year old gave birth to their first child together on 29 April at 9am, welcoming a baby boy.
She has now revealed the baby's full name, and detailed how the moniker has been inspired by 55 year old Boris' coronavirus battle.
Taking to her private Instagram page, Carrie wrote: "Introducing Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas Johnson born on 29.04.20 at 9am.
"Wilfred after Boris' grandfather, Lawrie after my grandfather, Nicholas after Dr Nick Price and Dr Nick Hart — the two doctors that saved Boris' life last month.
"Thank you so, so much to the incredible NHS maternity team at UCLH that looked after us so well. I couldn't be happier. My heart is full."
