Russell Wilson FaceTimes With Ciara From the Car During Ultrasound

Ciara has been pregnant before, but not in a time like this.

The star is currently expecting her third child, but amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, pregnancy has been a different process for expectant women around the world.

With limitations currently placed in some cities for how many people can be in the doctor’s office or delivery room to prevent further spread of the virus, some moms are facing child birth and other milestones in their baby journeys in ways they never expected.

Ciara demonstrated some of this when she shared a clip of herself at an ultrasound appointment without her famous husband, Russell Wilson, physically in the room. However, the star athlete wasn’t far. As it turns out, the Seattle Seahawks quarterback was in the car and watching on FaceTime.

“The life of a pregnant woman in Covid-19 Era is very interesting… Russ had to FaceTime me from the car for our Ultrasound,” the songstress wrote on Instagram.

“Ultrasound visits during this era of Covid-19 is a bummer because my hubby @DangeRussWilson can’t come in with me to my visit. Truly a challenging time for expectant mothers,” she tweeted.

While it’s certainly a tough time for people all around the world right now, the soon-to-be family of five are celebrating their blessings.

Just a day ago, they learned the sex of the little one on the way. Ciara’s 5-year-old son Future got his wish when he expressed his hope for a brother before the big reveal.

Rupert Grint Expecting First Child With Georgia Groome

LDN PIX / BACKGRID

There’s some magical news about Rupert Grint: he’s going to be a dad!

The Harry Potter star behind Ron Weasley is starting his own family in real life. The 31-year-old star and fellow actress Georgia Groome, who he’s reportedly been dating on and off for years, are expecting their first child together.

“Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are excited to announce they are expecting a baby and would please ask for privacy at this time,” his rep confirmed in a statement to E! News.

The future mom and dad were most recently spotted out together on Thursday in London, Groome’s visible baby bump spurring headlines.

While the two have been linked for nearly a decade, the couple have kept their personal life mostly out of the spotlight. A year ago, the pair sparked marriage rumors after Groome, the star of Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, was spotted with a gold band on her left hand ring finger.

The pregnancy marks another milestone as Grint is the first of the Harry Potter trio of stars to soon become a parent.

I’d like to settle down and have kids soon,” he told The Guardian in 2018. “If I had a son, would I call him Ron? It’s quite a good name, but probably not. And Grint’s a tough name to pair a one-syllable first name with.”

Whatever the little one’s name is, a new Harry Potter fan is on the way. Congratulations to the future mom and dad!

Million Dollar Listing’s Fredrik Eklund Says His Twins Are ‘Obsessed’ with Their New L.A. Life

After moving from New York, Fredrik Eklund says his kids are lovinLos Angeles.

The Million Dollar Listing star, who shares 2-year-olds Milla and Fredrik Jr. with Derek Kaplan talked to PEOPLE about his two kids and the family’s transition to the West Coast.

“It’s been quite a transition,” the 42-year-old tells PEOPLE. “Overall it’s been incredible. People ask me why I moved to Beverly Hills from New York after 17 years, I always say the main reason is the kids.”

The real estate mogul announced in July 2019 that he’d be making the official move to Los Angeles, surprising many as he is one of the top brokers in New York City.

Never miss a story — sign up for PEOPLE’s free daily newsletter to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from juicy celebrity news to compelling human interest stories.3

“They’re so obsessed,” he says. “They’re in the pool every day and they’re super, super happy. I feel torn because one side of me wants to spoil them, I just give them everything that they want but also another part of me is really jealous because I certainly didn’t have a childhood like that, but it’s just lovely to see them enjoying it so much.”

As the kids continue to grow, Eklund admits that raising his little pair can be “a lot.”

“I get blinded by them every day, they’re just the most beautiful little creatures,” he swoons. “It’s a lot having twins, any twin parent would agree. It’s so intense, but it’s also incredible. It’s the most beautiful, most important thing I’ve ever done. It’s exhausting but totally worth it.”

The twins have also made their first big film debut — well, sort of.

The two toddlers have roles in the Million Dollar Listing New York star’s hilarious Star Wars-inspired listing video which he created to help him sell a $32 million Beverly Hills home.

“I’ve never done anything with my kids,” Eklund tells PEOPLE. “At first I was a little hesitant to bring them but I’m so thankful and happy that they came. We had a face painter there for the kids. My daughter was a rabbit, my son became a dolphin and they were wearing the Star Wars-inspired outfits with their lightsabers. It’s really amazing.”

The clip follows Eklund and co-lister Ben Bacal as they prepare to do battle by both training and relaxing throughout the home’s 12,800-square-feet while dramatic music plays in the background.

The two-story home at 1231 Lago Vista Drive features seven bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, floating staircases and a six-foot chandelier, so there is lots of space to cover.

At the end of the clip — just before the two battle it out with lightsabers — viewers are brought back to reality: an adorable kids’ birthday party featuring Eklund’s own children.

Last month, Eklund opened up to his 1.2 million followers about raising his two adorable kids.

“Their personalities are really coming out now and we laugh so much at their ideas and antics. Freddy is the biggest cuddle baby still and so sweet and always want dada to read books and draw paintings of sharks,” he wrote about Fredrik, Jr. “He won’t stop growing and all the girls and I’m sure some boys want to be his friend. He says sharks are ‘mean’ and that dogs are ‘nice.'”

“Milla, on the other hand, runs the family,” he wrote about his daughter. “She calls herself Boss and Queen and her favorite movie is Wonder Woman. Her favorite word is ‘Stop!’ as she puts her hand out forcefully.”

And as the real estate star continues to settle into Los Angeles with the kids, he says he “can’t comment” on whether he’ll be joining the Bravo show’s Los Angeles version.

“I’ve become close to the L.A. cast now that I live here and I’ve been interacting with them a lot, and you know, squint squint, I can’t say anything,” he teases.

Fans began speculating about the switch to the L.A. show after Eklund shared a photo with Tracy Tutor and Josh Flagg with the caption “Yup it’s happening 😏.”

Eklund says he “looks up to all” of the L.A. cast members and says he’s been hanging out with them a lot.

“The L.A. cast has been here forever,” he says. “They know every property and I come and I bring something new for LA and a bigger outreach, maybe in terms of national and international clientele. But I still want to cooperate so I’ve really been excited to hang out and get to know them all.”

Cheyenne Floyd Reveals Where She Stands With Cory and Taylor

Instagram

When it comes to family, Cheyenne Floyd is the first to admit that hers isn’t the most conventional.

As she continues to co-parent her daughter Ryder with ex-boyfriend Cory Wharton, the Teen Mom OG star has another element to her crew.

This season on the MTV reality show, Cory reveals that his girlfriend Taylor Selfridge is pregnant.

“It’s definitely one big, weird, blended, dysfunctional family,” Cheyenne shared with E! News exclusively ahead of Tuesday night’s season premiere. “I actually helped them plan their gender reveal and gave them all the vendors and places to call. People hear that and they’re like, ‘You helped your child’s father plan their new child’s gender reveal?’ and it sounds so weird but it works for us.”

The MTV reality star added, “I would take our situation over us hating each other any day. It might be weird to some people, but it works for us.”

While it’s certainly been a process to get to this point, Cheyenne has always made it clear that she wanted the father of her child to be very involved from the very beginning.

“Our biggest thing since day one of Cory coming into Ryder’s life was what kind of dad he wanted to be and what kind of parent he wanted to be,” Cheyenne explained. “I wasn’t going to allow him to be a Disneyland dad or an Instagram dad or just in the moment…He had to be 100 percent. I think from the beginning, he saw my mindset and appreciated it so that’s why we co-parent so well.”

Instagram

Recently, the duo established a non-profit called Rage Regardless Ry that takes initiative in supporting the lifestyle changes that come with raising children living with metabolic conditions. The couple’s daughter was diagnosed with a rare condition named VLCAD.

“She’s doing good. With all the health stuff and viruses, we have to keep her close to us and take extra precautions,” Cheyenne explained. “But she’s doing well. She does regular doctor appointments and sees a nutritionist and a genetics doctor but everyone says her levels are really good. We are just trying to get through flu season.”

Health obstacles aside, Cheyenne is also focused on continuing a healthy relationship with Cory and his current girlfriend. It certainly helps that Taylor gets along with Ryder so well.

“I’m not going to let my kid go anywhere if I’m not cool with the person and so we might as well be friends and get to know each other so it’s a peaceful relationship,” Cheyenne explained. “Ryder honestly loves Taylor and Taylor is really good with her and talks more about Taylor than her dad. I can’t hate. I have to respect their relationship and Taylor and I have our own relationship.”

And you never know when the rolls will reverse and Cheyenne will meet a special man in her life.

“In the beginning of the season, viewers will see what happened between Matt and I,” she teased. “I’m not really focused on dating. I’m just focused on being a good mom and starting the non-profit and the business. If someone comes into my life, I’d be open but I’m not looking. But if you have a nice guy that’s single and six feet four inches tall, bring him my way. The DMs are open.”

Teen Mom OG returns with new episodes Tuesday night at 8 p.m. only on MTV.

Kylie Jenner Shares Sweet Video of 'Conversations' with Stormi as They Dip Their Feet in Pool

Kylie Jenner and her 2-year-old daughter Stormi spent part of their morning chit-chatting under the sun!

On Tuesday, Jenner, 22, shared a sweet video on her Instagram Stories of her “conversations” with the toddler as the mother-daughter duo dipped their feet in Jenner’s backyard pool.

Jenner first showed off her massive backyard, panning the camera to reveal Stormi’s lavish playhouse.

“Mommy!” Stormi yells as Kylie says “What baby?”

In the next clip, Stormi can be seen sitting next to the pool, asking “What’s that noise mommy?”

“Um, they’re cleaning,” Jenner answers in reference to the construction-like sounds in the background.

“Conversations,” Jenner wrote over the heartwarming clip.

“What’s that noise?” Stormi asks again as she scoots closer to the edge of the pool. “It’s a little leaf blower. … I think or they might be sawing a tree down. I have no idea.”

“Oh,” Stormi says curiously back to her mom before asking another question.

“What’s that noise?” Stormi says to Jenner, who informs her, “That sounds like the pool filter.”

Stormi later dips her toes gently into the water, encouraging her famous mom to do the same.

“Should mommy put her feet in?” Jenner asks the toddler, who excitedly says, “Yes!”

The mother-daughter duo then splash their feet together in harmony and Jenner says, “Look at us!”

After soaking up the sun for a few more moments, Jenner shared an additional clip of Stormi running back toward the house.

“Love of my life,” Jenner wrote over the clip.

Jenner and Stormi’s pool day comes after the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star took a trip to the Bahamas with her baby girl and close friends, including Stassie Karanikolaou.

In since-expired Instagram Story clips, the group could be seen taking shots and snacking on fruit, mini pancakes and Frito chips. “Saturday’s are for the girls💛💛,” Jenner captioned three photos of herself and Karanikolaou lying by the pool.

On Friday, the Kylie Cosmetics mogul shared a sweet photo of herself and her daughter walking on the sand, writing, “you and me..”

The vacation comes as Jenner sparks speculation that she and ex-boyfriend Travis Scott may have rekindled their romance following their split in October. (The two share daughter Stormi.)

On Friday, the reality star shared a series of throwback photos on her Instagram Stories that showed her and Scott getting cozy while sitting courtside at a 2017 Houston Rockets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder basketball game.

“It’s a mood,” Jenner wrote over the three photos.

A source told PEOPLE on Monday that the two are in a “great” place — but not officially a couple again.

“Things are great with Kylie and Travis,” the source says. “They are very happy. Kylie still isn’t labeling their relationship. It seems they aren’t seeing other people, though.”

Mum gives birth to twin boys but only one can swallow due to rare disorder

A mother has shared the story of her traumatic birth after one of her twins was born unable to swallow.

Lauren McGarry gave birth to twins Sonny and James prematurely during an emergency C-section after doctors told her and husband James that Sonny was carrying too much fluid.

The 34-year-old mother from Scotland told the Daily Record : "As soon as James was born I heard him cry, but when Sonny came out he didn't and they had to resuscitate him. It was absolutely terrifying."

Doctors suspected the babies had 'Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome' (TTTS) meaning it was unlikely both twins would survive and kept taking scans to monitor them both.

  • Boris Johnson and fiancée Carrie expecting – but how many children does he have?

But during a scan doctors noticed Sonny's fluid levels were dangerously high and she had to have the baby there and then.

She said: "We were both terrified. I just remember laying on the bed, but I was behind a curtain, but James could see all the staff in the room and he said there were dozens and dozens of them. I'm glad I couldn't see because I was already terrified."

After trying to fit both babies with feeding tubes they realised Sonny had been born with a rare disorder called OA/TOF which meant he was unable to swallow.

  • Rosanna Davison says she bawled her eyes out as she watched surrogate give birth

  • Billie Faiers celebrates first wedding anniversary with her husband in the Maldives

A baby with Oesophageal atresia and Tracheo-oesophageal fistula (OA/TOF) has a gap in his or her oesophagus which mens they are unable to swallow saliva or milk.

Lauren said: "We had never heard of it so we were just shocked and scared and obviously confused. The doctors were saying 'he can't swallow' and I just couldn't wrap my head around it. I mean, how can you not swallow? It was devastating."

The couple were then devastated after being told Sonny would have to undergo surgery at just two days old and the family were transferred to Edinburgh Royal Hospital for Sick Children.

Sonny had a six-hour surgery to repair his oesophagus.

Lauren said it was the 'most horrendous' six hours waiting for the operation to finish.

Thankfully his operation was successful but the effects of OA/TOF will impact Sonny for the rest of his life.

"We feel very grateful that the surgery was successful, but we also know that Sonny will have to be careful for the rest of his life," she added.

"He will always be more susceptible to chest infections, reflux and coughs. He will always have to watch what he eats because although his oesophagus is now joined, it will always be narrow at that repair, so he will be more susceptible to choking.

"It is very scary as parents because we are currently weaning the boys and we have to be incredibly careful about what we give him to eat."

Now nine-months on fro the birth, Lauren hopes that by sharing her story it will encourage more research into the condition, which affects just one in 3,500 births.

She said: "This would have meant a much less traumatic experience for me and I would have been able to give birth in a hospital equipped to deal with it. I hope by sharing Sonny's story it means other families might have a less traumatic time than we did."

Lauren says despite everything he had been through Sonny is always smiling and loves playing with his brother James and big sister Isla.

Gran shares heartbreaking pictures of baby girl killed by deadly infection

A grandmother has shared heartbreaking pictures of her granddaughter who died from an infection at just three-weeks old.

Jackie Watt said little Lola Young's death after contracting Strep B was "needless" – slamming the government for not offering a routine test for the infection to pregnant women.

The bacterial infection being carried by one in five pregnant women and kills on average 75 babies every year.

Since Lola's death, Jackie has campaigned tirelessly for routine testing for all pregnant women – even taking her fight personally to the Scottish parliament.

Jackie, from Kilwinning, Scotland, shared images of the tragic tot on what would have been her seventh birthday.

But as the anniversary of Lola's tragic death approaches, Jackie says nothing has changed, reports the Daily Record.

  • Schoolboy, 12, left covered in blood after being beaten in attempted robbery

  • Tragedy as 'happy and fun-loving' mum-of-three found dead at home

She said: "Babies are still dying for no reason because the Government won't pay £15 for each woman to be tested during pregnancy.

"I think it's absolutely disgraceful.

"They know the danger Strep B poses to babies and mothers, but it's almost like they are trying to ignore it."

Jackie says despite seven years of her campaigning – which included her lobbying to the Scottish Government for a change in pregnancy procedures, babies are still dying from the silent killer.

She said: "When we lost Lola it was honestly the most horrific time of our lives. We hadn't even heard of Strep B and yet here we were being told it had killed my granddaughter.

"I just cannot understand why the Government will not introduce testing when so many mums and babies either fall very ill or in some cases, die."

Other countries, including France, Spain, America and Canada do offer routine testing for pregnant women, but in Britain, the test is not readily available.

  • Healthy son, 23, collapses and dies suddenly in front of mum after waking her at night

Following Lola's death, mum Nicole fell pregnant again and gave birth to another daughter, Brooke, who is now six, quickly followed by another daughter, Ellie, now five.

But Jackie says the distraught family were so traumatised by what had happened to Lola that they were not able to relax and enjoy either of the new babies.

She said: "It was a terrible, terrible time. We were so happy Nicole was expecting again but all I could feel was fear and panic. I was just in a constant state of worry.

"I think if Nicole was to have a baby now, seven years on, we would all be a lot more relaxed because we know so much more, but back then it was so frightening. It was just a very sad time for us."

But all is not lost. Since Jackie began campaigning she has managed to raise the profile of Strep B and now there is information included in the Ready Steady Baby book which is issued to all expectant mums and a separate leaflet is also given to women.

While Jackie is glad awareness is being raised, she still maintains it is simply not enough.

She added: "It's great that more is being done to raise awareness but, for me, that doesn't go far enough. Testing it the only way to stop babies dying from Strep B.

"Sometimes I wonder where to go next and what to do, who to contact. I am just a grandmother. I work, I have a busy life, and it feels like no good is going to come of it. But then I remember my Lola and I know a change needs to happen and I won't stop fighting until it does."
