Coronation Street's Catherine Tyldesley shares hilarious honeymoon snap of her falling off a camel

FORMER Coronation Street star Catherine Tyldesley has shared a hilarious honeymoon snap of her falling off a camel.

The 36-year-old has kept her 615,000 Instagram followers entertained throughout lockdown with rib-tickling sketches as her comedy character Olga.

Yet, the actress turned the focus onto herself by sharing the ultimate 'Instagram vs reality' post when she and her husband Tom took a spill on a camel.

Firstly, Catherine, who celebrated her wedding anniversary this week, shared a photo of her and Tom sitting on the animal as they happily posed for a photo during their 2016 honeymoon to Dubai.

The ITV darling then shared in the same post another picture of the couple in despair and holding on tightly to the saddle as the camel got to its feet.

She penned: "Looking through old honeymoon pics on our anniversary… this still makes me wee ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ insta vs reality.

Earlier this week, Catherine also celebrated her wedding anniversary to Tom.

In a gushing post online, the mum-of-one thanked him for telling her she looks beautiful – even if she's wearing PJs covered in sick.

"Happy Anniversary… what we have achieved in the last few years is nothing short of AMAZING," she told Tom.

Happy Anniversary @tompitfieldimages … what we have achieved in the last few years is nothing short of AMAZING. Thankyou for always giving me wings. For supporting my hopes and dreams- it is through our dreams that our souls truly shine. Thankyou for being the best daddy in the world. For constantly cooking awesome food. For tidying up my mess 24/7. For every song/ dance and monologue that youโ€™ve patiently sat through. For telling me I look beautiful even when Iโ€™m wearing Harry Potter PJs/covered in baby sick/have the worst lockdown hair known to man. For every time youโ€™ve held my hand behind the sequins and sparkles and quietly whispered โ€œIโ€™m here. You can do thisโ€. For trekking around the world/up and down the Uk because mummy has a new job that her heart needs to do. For loving my parents as much as I do. For scrubbing my fake tan of the tiles. For hoovering up my lost extensions/false lashes. For supporting my mental health/erratic hormones. I love you. I love you every day- non stop. Thankyou for every beautiful day you give us. Youโ€™re soul is the kindest and funniest of souls. Youโ€™re a rare bread my love- I plan on keeping you for a very long time indeed. Love you pickle ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿปโค๏ธ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿปโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

Catherine Tyldesley puts makeup on to feel 'human again' during coronavirus lockdown

CORONATION Street's Catherine Tyldesley shared a glamorous selfie on Instagram last night and revealed that putting on lipstick made her feel 'human again' amid the coronavirus lockdown.

The 36-year-old has been keeping her social media followers' spirits up with a plethora of funny videos and sketches of her alter ego Olga Keff while the UK adheres to the government's order to 'stay at home'.

Continuing to put a smile on her 604,000 followers faces, the actress posted a beaming snap of her and hilariously admitted putting on "a bra" helped her mood.

The Manchester native wrote in the caption alongside the snap: "She's bobbed a face on… just for s**ts and giggles!

"Feeling grumpy? Put some lipstick on and a bra… it worked a dream! #humanagain".

Her post comes after she after awkwardly joked "if Chinese ate sandwiches we wouldn't be in this mess" in an online sketch as the UK remains in lockdown due to the coronavirus.

The actress was playing her comedy alter-ego Olga Keff in the Instagram video when she told her followers "one of her favourite lockdown recipes".

It turns out her favourite is in fact a cheese sandwich with brown sauce, so gave the recipe and the cheeky quip.

She then joked: "Tell you what, if Chinese had stuck to cheese sandwiches we wouldn't be in this mess," before saying, "Bloody bats".

The joke is referencing the theory that COVID-19 originated in bats from the Wuhan wet markets.ย  The first cases were reported in Wuhan, China, but WHO has not yet confirmed whether the virus has come from an animal source.

Speaking in the video, Olga said: "Today we are going to make a cheese sandwich. It's a firm favourite of mine.

"We are going to use lactose free cheese. Can't go near cow's milk me, goes straight through me."

In the caption, she wrote: "#Olga #MrsKeff sharing one of her fave lock down recipes if you please."
