Faith Evans Arrested After Having a Row With Husband Stevie J

The ‘I’ll Be Missing You’ singer has been charged for domestic violence after police was called to her house in Los Angeles following a heated argument with her spouse.

AceShowbizFaith Evans was reportedly arrested earlier this week. According to TMZ, the R&B singer was taken into police custody for allegedly attacking her husband Stevie J during an altercation.

Things seemingly got violent during a heated argument between the couple. There were visible marks and scratches on Stevie’s face when law enforcement was called to their house in Los Angeles.

Faith was allegedly booked for felony domestic violence. The 46-year-old star was bailed out later that day.

It’s unclear what prompted the couple’s feud, but both kept silent on social media.

Faith Evans has been married to Stevie J, 48, for two years. They don’t have any children together, but Faith has four kids from previous relationships and Stevie has six.

Rumors of their marriage trouble emerged last year when they were caught unfollowing each other on social media. He added fuel by posting a string of cryptic messages, “Drunk people always speak their truth,” “Ones insecurities can damage them,” “All that glitters ain’t gold,” and “Cherish what you love just know nothing will last forever.”

Several months later, another series of angry messages were posted on Stevie’s Twitter. “Trust no b***h,” they read. “12 days of Xmas I sent her 5k a day. Wanna show the world what being a stand up guy will get you. Found of that NO woman is faithful. Knew that & it’s a blessing to know.”

He later claimed his account was hacked. “My twitter & IG was hacked last night while I was on the plane,” he told his online followers. “My wife is the love of my life & my best friend. Whoever hacked me, you not only hurt me but my entire family.”

The couple reportedly swapped vows in 2018 in a Las Vegas hotel room for a hurried ceremony. Their hush hush wedding was not without drama. Back then, his ex Misha Perry called him out for allegedly abandoning her while she was pregnant with his child.

She wrote on Instagram back then, “Lol I hope this time it’s a real marriage and since you getting married I hope Faith can help you on some of those child support debts because YOUR (our) child will be here in October …” She also told Faith, “Biggie [Faith’s late ex] is turnin’ over in his grave you should be ashamed of yourself.”

Misha was not the only one skeptical about Stevie’s capability to be in a monogamous relationship. Another of his ex Joseline Hernandez said he was still trying to hook up with her despite their breakup, “So sweet of my baby daddy and his wife! Someone tell her to keep an eye on him when he calls me to see my b*** h*** in the am.”

When do the Premier League, La Liga and Serie A restart? Start dates for all confirmed European leagues

FOOTBALL is slowly but surely getting back on it's feet after the coronavirus suspension.

After the success of Germany's Bundesliga in getting games going again – albeit behind closed doors – leagues around Europe are starting to plan for a return themselves.

Premier League

  • Date suspended: March 13.
  • Date set for resumption: June 17.
  • Opening fixtures: Man City vs Arsenal, Aston Villa vs Sheff Utd.

It's been a long road back for the Premier League.

With the UK badly affected by Covid-19, it looked likely back in April that we wouldn't see the season completed on the field.

But after getting the green light from the government, Prem chiefs pushed ahead with the Project Restart project which will see games played behind closed doors.

The finer details are still to be ironed out and everything depends on the national 'R' rate staying low, but Premier League football looks set to resume on June 17.

Liverpool could win the title as early as their first match if Man City are beaten by Arsenal and they subsequently defeat Everton.

With top spot all but decided, attention will then most likely turn to the top four race and the scramble for survival at the bottom.

Serie A

  • Date suspended: March 9
  • Date set for resumption: June 13/20

Just like here in the UK, Italy suffered a catastrophic outbreak of Covid-19.

The strict lockdown has resulted in a dramatic fall in the infection rate and life is slowly starting to resemble some sort of normality around the country.

And Serie A chiefs have given a tentative green light for Serie A to return on either June 13 or June 20.

But the Italian government have warned the clubs that everything will stop if there is a positive coronavirus test.

Should one player or staff member contract Covid-19, the whole club will have to go into quarantine.

Sandra Zampa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, said: "If one gets sick, the quarantine is for everyone.

"Otherwise we would go back to suspending everything.

"Everything stops, no doubt if the quarantine is triggered, the championship also stops."

Juventus are on course for a NINTH consecutive title, but Lazio are not going away quietly and will resume the campaign just one point off the Old Lady.

La Liga

  • Date suspended: March 12
  • Date set for resumption: June 8

At points during the crisis, it looked likely that the La Liga season would have to be completed without another ball being kicked.

But due to a lockdown on par with that in Italy, the country is in a position to restart sport again behind closed doors – and with stringent safety measures.

Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has confirmed that LaLiga will return on June 8.

League organisers have drawn up a highly detailed plan to ensure safety is paramount.

That involves having a maximum of 197 people inside the stadium on matchday with players and officials tested 24 hours before their respective fixture.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are involved in a ding-dong clash for the title, as Los Blancos look to take the crown for the first time since 2017.

Other major European leagues

  • Scottish Premiership – Cancelled
  • Ligue 1 (France) – Cancelled
  • Eredivisie (Holland) – Cancelled
  • Pro League (Belgium) – Cancelled
  • Primeira Liga (Portugal) – May 30
  • SuperLiga (Denmark) – May 28

While many of Ayesha’s followers praised her with comments that she looked “amazing,” others called her out for a previous remark she made about not showing off her body.

The Currys have been enjoying more family time with their children

In addition to her workouts, Ayesha’s also been posting plenty of pictures of her family over the last few months and what they’ve been up to during quarantine.

In March, Ayesha revealed that she was celebrating her 31st birthday at home just the way she preferred with her kiddos.

“So grateful for another year!!!! Spent my bday just the way I wanted to,” she wrote. “In the house surrounded by my babies and hubs, watching This Is Us and West World. Every adult is now an organ donor unless they opt out – thanks to two inspiring children – The Sun

PEOPLE waiting for life-saving operations in England have been given fresh hope as a new organ donation law comes into play today.

Most adults in England are now organ donors unless they opt out thanks to two inspiring children.

Max and Keira’s law takes effect today and will lead to 700 additional transplants each year by 2023.

Keira Ball was nine when she passed away three days after she was in a horrific car crash near her home in Devon in July 2017 which left her with serious head injuries.

Her family took the heartbreaking decision to allow her to become an organ donor, motivated by her desire to help others.

At the same time Max Johnson, 10, was fighting for his life at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle and needed a transplant to save him.

Max's family later received a phone call saying an organ had been found and was a match.

Little Max campaigned to bring about the new law after Keira’s organs saved four lives in total, including another young boy who received her pancreas and liver.

Max and Keira's law sees a shift to an opt-out system, whereby those aged 18 and over are deemed to have given consent to donate their own organs when they die, unless they explicitly state otherwise or are in an excluded group.

Faizan Awan, one of thousands of people across the UK awaiting a transplant, said: "For many people like me, who are waiting for an organ, the law change is a sign of hope and a transplant would dramatically change my life in a number of ways.

LIFE CHANGING

"With the new law coming into effect, it is now more important than ever to talk about organ donation and get the conversation going amongst our family and friends."

Anthony Clarkson, director of organ and tissue donation and transplantation at NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT), said: "We hope this law change will prompt all of us to consider whether or not we would want to donate our organs and encourage us all to register and share our decision with our family and friends."

He added that people should be aware they will still have a choice on whether or not to donate, and reassured the public that families will still be consulted, and faith, beliefs and culture will continue to be respected.

The change in law has been widely welcomed by charities including the British Heart Foundation and Kidney Care UK.

In 2015 a similar law was introduced in Wales.

Scotland is due to have similar legislation in place by Autumn 2020, whereas Ireland continues to have an opt in system.

Where do Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger live?

Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger’s romance took off quickly, having started dating in 2018, getting married in 2019, and now expecting their first child together, per The Daily Mail. Given that the couple is dedicated to co-parenting Pratt’s first child, Jack, with ex Anna Faris, Pratt and Schwarzenegger’s living situation has to be carefully calculated as they continue to grow their family.

According to E! News, Pratt was immediately “smitten” with Schwarzenegger. He told the outlet just ahead of their romantic wedding in June 2019, “She has changed my life for the better in so many ways. My heart, my soul, my son, I feel all are so safe with her. She’s a great step mom, she’s god willing going to be a great mom one day.” An insider reportedly also told E! News that having a kid together was the plan ever since they said “I do.”

The source claimed that Schwarzenegger “expressed [that] she’d love to be pregnant in early 2020. Chris has a busy year coming up with filming, but both of them are ready [to] start this next chapter and bring a baby into their happy marriage.” With the baby news breaking in April 2020, it actually turned out to be perfect timing, given that Pratt just released his movie Onward and Schwarzenegger’s book, The Gift of Forgiveness, came out in March.

So, where does the couple plan on spending the next nine months waiting for their new baby?

Chris Pratt's divorce settlement dictates where he lives

Chris Pratt finalized his divorce from Anna Faris in 2018 and they have remained close for their son’s sake. In fact, their divorce settlement, per People, is almost wholly centered on little Jack. According to the outlet, both parties waived their right to spousal and child support, and they share both legal and physical custody of their son equally. They have a “flexible timeshare” of the little guy that’s dependent on their work schedules.

The most interesting thing is that the two actors agreed to live no further than five miles apart from each other until Jack is in sixth grade (he is currently 7 years old). According to People, the two have to “provide written notice to each other if they plan on moving away outside of the five-mile limit,” and have to give 30 days notice to the other parent if they plan on taking their son out of the country on vacation or having him along while filming.

So far, they’ve stuck to it. Pratt and Schwarzenegger moved in together in 2019 ahead of their wedding, according to Entertainment Tonight, in West Los Angeles near Pacific Palisades. Faris also bought a $4.9 million home in Pacific Palisades in October 2019, per Architectural Digest. According to the Los Angeles Times, the Palisades neighborhood is just under 23 square miles, so it’s safe to say they’re abiding by their legal settlement, depending on the actual addresses.

Chris Pratt still owns property with Anna Faris

Although Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger live in the Palisades, close to ex-wife Anna Faris and son Jack, he still partially owns a house in Hollywood Hills. After finalizing their divorce in 2018, the couple put their “secluded” mini-estate on the market for $4.995 million, per Variety, though it still hasn’t sold. The couple bought the home from Live Nation Entertainment president and CEO, Michael Rapino, in 2013 for $3.3 million, which was way more than the $2.975 asking price. The 4,710-square-feet home — built in the 1970s on two-thirds of an acre — has secured gates, four bedrooms, and 3.5 bathrooms.

Before moving into that home, Faris and Pratt lived in a home basically just across the street. She bought the 2,563-square-feet property in 2005 for just under $2 million and sold it for $2.5 million, per Variety. She initially shared the home with her first ex-husband Ben Indra and also Pratt before they moved into the aforementioned more secluded property.

All in all, Pratt, his ex, and his new wife have shuffled multiple homes over the years, but Jack is lucky to have them all so close, whether it’s in the Hollywood Hills or Pacific Palisades.

Brad Pitt’s Dr. Fauci Disses Donald Trump on ‘SNL’ Over Coronavirus Disinfectant Injection Remarks

The ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ actor returns to ‘Saturday Night Live’ as Covid-19 expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci, to factcheck what the President has been saying about the virus.

AceShowbizBrad Pitt stole the show on “Saturday Night Live” this weekend, April 25, 2020 with a surprise appearance as America’s top COVID-19 expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci.

The “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” star launched the second At Home version of the famed late-night comedy sketch show by taking on the role of Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, for the cold open, during which he tried to clarify numerous confusing statements issued by U.S. President Donald Trump in his regular White House coronavirus task force briefings.

“Good evening, I’m Dr. Anthony Fauci,” a suited Pitt began, wearing a pair of glasses and a grey wig while seated behind a desk.

“Now, there’s been a lot of misinformation out there about the virus. Yes, the President has taken some liberties with our guidelines. So tonight, I would like to explain what the President was trying to say.”

Footage of Trump claiming there would be a vaccine “relatively soon” then aired, before cutting back to Pitt, as Fauci, who mused, “Relatively soon is an interesting phrase. Relative to the entire history of Earth? Sure, the vaccine is going to come real fast (sic).”

He also cleared up a remark the Republican leader had made about how he and his administration had done an “incredible job” handling the pandemic, while declaring COVID-19 would “disappear one day, like a miracle.”

“A miracle is great. Who doesn’t like miracles?” the actor quipped, adding, “Miracles shouldn’t be Plan A.”

After throwing a few more jabs at the controversial real estate tycoon and reality star-turned-world leader, Pitt removed his disguise and returned to his normal voice as he shared a message of thanks to essential workers.

“To the real Dr. Fauci, thank you for your calm and your clarity in this unnerving time,” he said. “And thank you to the medical workers, first responders, and their families, for being on the frontline.”

Pitt’s participation in the monologue emerges weeks after Fauci himself joked about having the Oscar winner portray him on a future episode of SNL.

Quizzed about the prospect on CNN recently, the 79 year old replied, “Oh, Brad Pitt, of course.”

“SNL” producers debuted their first At Home episode on April 11 when Tom Hanks returned to TV for the first time since beating the coronavirus.

Coldplay‘s Chris Martin served as the musical guest for that instalment while Miley Cyrus covered Pink Floyd‘s “Wish You Were Here” for this weekend’s show, which also featured cameos by Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider, and Paul Rudd.

Groom has virtual stag do which has him drinking out of a dog bowl

A groom-to-be who was supposed to have his wedding in May had to have a virtual stag after the UK went into lockdown.

Dan Marshall, 33, from Worcester, celebrated his upcoming nuptials over Zoom with his friends, who made it as wild as it could be.

Dan was due to marry fiancée, Sam Kitching, 33, a primary school teacher, in a civil ceremony at Pebworth but the wedding has been postponed until late October.

To cheer him up, Dan’s friends got creative and organised a virtual celebration.

Just because they were socially distancing didn’t mean they skipped the stag do behaviour.

Dan had to dress up for the night and drink for every ten likes that stags got on their Facebook profile picture (of Dan).

Other heady tasks included drinking out of a dog bowl and doing lots of press ups.

Just usual lad behaviour. Dan loved (almost) every minute of it.

The account manager said: ‘The lads decided to throw me a virtual stag do after the real one had to be cancelled.

‘It was so much fun, and definitely a night to remember.

‘Partners were invited too and, on the night, it was five couples, including me and Sam, and my brother Jay.

‘We all had to dress up. Sam and I dressed as Mario and Luigi.’

Others were dressed as Joe Exotic from the Netflix show Tiger King, a nurse, a cat and other random costumes.

Dan added: ‘During the day, some of the stags changed their Facebook profile pictures to a photo of me and each one said “10 likes = 1 shot”.

‘Some of the photos had 70+ likes, so it was a challenge! My brother then did a This Is Your Life with old photos of me, we played quizzes, the Mr and Mrs game and the keepy-uppy challenge with loo roll.

‘They even challenged me to see how many press-ups I could do in a minute and made me drink out of a dog bowl.

‘It was a really fun night, although the hangover the next day was not so much.’

Bride-to-be Sam looks forward to her own virtual hen do on 9 May.

She said: ‘Seeing how much fun Dan’s stag do was, I’m can’t wait for mine.
It’ll be a welcome distraction from being in lockdown.

‘I’m just hoping isolation ends in time for October, as I’ll be so disappointed if we have the postpone the wedding again.’

In a letter to 30 million households, Mr Johnson is to tell Brits ‘we have sought to put in the right measures at the time’.

He has admitted ‘things will get worse before they get better’ and ‘will not hesitate to go further if that is what the scientific and medical advice tells us we must do’.

How do I get the new £2,500 a month self-employed coronavirus grant and who does it help? – The Sun

BRITAIN'S five million self-employed workers will be entitled to grants to cover disruption to their business cause by the coronavirus outbreak.

Grants of up to 80 per cent of profits lost because of the virus will be available from June.

⚠️ Read our coronavirus live blog for the latest news & updates

Chancellor Rishi Sunak announced the "unprecedented" bailout package last night for Britain’s self-employed workers.

Many workers, including hairdressers, chefs, taxi drivers and childcare providers have either lost their entire income or seen it dramatically reduced since the start of the outbreak.

These people may now be given a Government grant. Here we explain who can get one and how to get one.

How much money is available?

The grants being made available will be calculated by looking at average monthly profits from the last three years of up to £2,500 a month.

Average monthly payouts are thought to be about £940 each per month.

For example, a freelancer with average trading profits of £18,000 a year over the last three years would be able to get £1,200 per month.

If a worker has been self employed for less than three years, the calculation will be based on the tax returns they have made.

The Government has said the grants are taxable so it's likely those who receive one will need to declare them on their next tax return, if their salary has returned to normal by then, although the exact details are yet to be announced.

Who qualifies for the self-employed grants?

Anyone who is self employed and has been financially affected by the pandemic should be eligible for one of the grants – but there are some exceptions.

They are only available to workers who have the majority of their income from self-employment.

Those who have not yet filed a tax return, because they haven't been self-employed for long, are also excluded from the scheme.

It’s also only available to those with profits of up to £50,000.

How can I apply for a grant?

Grants aren’t available to all self-employed workers automatically, they’re only for those who have been adversely affected by the pandemic, who during this time had at least half of their work coming from self-employment.

You won't apply for them, HMRC is contacting workers directly to tell them if they are eligible.

It will ask them to fill out a form and the money will be paid directly into their bank accounts.

When will the money be paid?

The grants will not be available until the first week of June but payments will be backdated until March 1.

What about workers who pay themselves a salary?

Workers who pay themselves a salary and dividends through their own company won’t be covered by this.

If they operate PAYE schemes they can apply to the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme for help.

Can self-employed workers apply for Universal Credit?

You may be able to claim Universal Credit if you have lost income because of the virus outbreak.

For those unable to claim the new grants, this may be the only option if you're looking for help with your income.

Universal Credit is the controversial new welfare system which replaced six benefits – including working tax credit and housing benefit – with one monthly payment.

The amount of money you can get, known as the standard allowance, usually ranges between £251.77 and £498.89 depending on your age and whether or not you're part of a couple.

But it will be increased to £1,040 on April 6 for new and existing claimants.

At the moment there is a five-week wait until the money is paid for Universal Credit.

There are also long waiting times for those calling the helpline, although the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has said its recruiting more workers to deal with the demand.

Can self-employed workers apply for sick pay?

To allow more people to access statutory sick pay, which is at least £94.25 a week, the chancellor has also suspended the self-employed Universal Credit minimum income floor for everyone affected by the virus.

The Universal Credit minimum income floor applies to those who've been self-employed for more than a year.

It's the amount you're thought to earn each month, and is used to work out how much Universal Credit you get on top of your earnings.

If you earn below this level in any month, you are treated as earning the minimum income floor.

If you are earning more than the minimum income floor, your actual earnings are taken into account instead.

Those off work from coronavirus may also be able to get help with their income loss by signing up to contributory Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) either instead or at the same time as getting Universal Credit.

To be eligible, you need to have worked as an employee or been self-employed and paid enough National Insurance contributions in the past two to three years.

What else is being offered to self-employed workers?

For those late paying their tax return, due at the end of January, you now have four weeks in order to complete and pay this.

The Government has also extended payments due in July 2020 under self assessment to January 2021.

VAT payments have also been delayed from now until June 30, although this only relates to workers who earn more than £85,000.

The Government has launched a scheme to help businesses in England (the rules are different elsewhere) with loans and grants but whether you qualify if you're self-employed depends on whether you're also a small business.

Under this, small businesses that already pay little or no business rates may qualify for a one-off grant of £10,000.

Your local authority will write to you if you are eligible.

Vouchers are available for children who usually get free school meals for £15 a week.

Lots of high street shops have now closed their online trading because of the virus including Next.

We have a full list of the shops that are still open for essential shopping.

What is coronavirus and how does Covid-19 virus spread? – The Sun

CORONAVIRUS has killed more than 17,000 people to date and infected at least 225,000 others.

But what is coronavirus, how does it spread and what are the disease symptoms?

⚠️ Read our coronavirus live blog for the latest news & updates

What is coronavirus?

Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that can cause infections ranging from the common cold to Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (Sars).

The virus attacks the respiratory system, causing pneumonia-like lung lesions.

Some of the virus types cause less serious disease, while others – like the one that caused Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (Mers) – are far more severe.

In 2003 an outbreak of a similar virus, Sars, killed more than 900 around the world within weeks.

What are the symptoms?

Symptoms are similar to a common cold.

They include:

  • a runny nose
  • headache
  • cough
  • fever
  • shortness of breath
  • chills
  • body aches

In most cases, you won't know whether you have a coronavirus or a different cold-causing virus, such as rhinovirus.

But if a coronavirus infection spreads to the lower respiratory tract (your windpipe and your lungs), it can cause pneumonia, especially in older people, people with heart disease or those with weakened immune systems.

There is currently no vaccine for coronavirus.

To help prevent infection, do the same things you do to avoid the common cold such as using alcohol-based anti-bacterial soaps and sprays.

People should also avoid touching their eyes, nose and mouth – and avoid contact with people who are infected.

A coronavirus infection should be treated the same way a cold is treated.

Biting your nails can seriously increase your risk of contracting coronavirus, according to an allergy and infectious diseases specialist.

Here's what can you do to keep your home safe.

How does coronavirus spread?

Coronavirus is an airborne virus, spread in a similar way to colds and the flu.

It is incredibly contagious and is spread through contact with anything the virus is on as well as infected breath, coughs or sneezes.

This means that anyone who is infected can pass it on to any surface or person they breathe on or touch.

How far has the virus spread so far?

In spite of efforts to contain the virus, it has gone international.

China, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Australia, Taiwan, Malaysia, US, Germany, Vietnam, Macao, France, UAE, Canada, Italy, UK, India, Philippines, Russia, Nepal, Cambodia, Finland, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Belgium and Sweden have all reported cases.
