Amazon opens new family shelter inside Seattle headquarter building

Amazon opens a permanent homeless shelter inside its trendy Seattle HQ that can sleep up to 200 people a night over eight floors

  • Amazon and non-profit Mary’s Place announced the shelter opened Thursday
  • The family shelter is inside one of Amazon’s Seattle headquarter buildings
  • The shelter is 63,000-square-feet big and takes up eight floors of the building
  • The building also houses Amazon office spaces, which have a separate entrance
  • The shelter now has 50 families living in it for social distancing purposes
  • When fully operational, it can house up to 200 people and is expected to serve 1,000 families a year

Amazon has opened a permanent homeless shelter inside one of its office buildings in its downtown Seattle headquarters.

The online retailer and nonprofit organization Mary’s Place announced Thursday that they have officially opened the Mary’s Place Family Center in The Regrade – a family shelter that can fit up to 200 people.

Although built inside one of Amazon’s office buildings, the eight-floor, 63,000-square-foot shelter is being kept separate from Amazon’s offices through private entrances and acoustical isolation, according to a joint press release.

Amazon and non-profit Mary’s Place announced the opening of Mary’s Place Family Center in The Regrade on Thursday. It’s located inside one of Amazon’s headquarter buildings in Seattle

The family shelter sits on eight floors of an Amazon office building and takes up 63,000 square feet. The other half of the building is comprised of Amazon office space

Among the shelter’s facilities are an industrial kitchen (pictured), large dining room – big enough for social distancing – and space for Amazon’s legal team to provide pro bono support

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos thanked Mary’s Place for partnering with Amazon on the shelter

The family shelter and the Amazon offices feature acoustical separation and have their own entrances. Plazas and other public spaces are for use by both families and Amazon workers

Among the shelter’s features are a large dining room – big enough for social distancing – an industrial kitchen with commercial cooking equipment, space for Amazon’s legal team to provide pro bono support and recreation spaces for children and teens.

Amazon’s VP of global real estate and facilities John Schoettler told Fast Company that the office building was ‘essentially divided in half lengthwise. Half of it is divided for use by Amazon. The balance on the other side is used by Mary’s Place.’

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos pictured in 2019

Acoustical separation between the two halves of the building was crucial ‘Because Mary’s Place is a 24/7 operation, there’ll be a lot of children and different activities going on one side, while on the other side there could be a lot of heads-down work and quiet space or a lot of meetings,’ he said.

Plazas and other public spaces around the building were created to be used by both Amazon employees and the families staying at the shelter, though.

One of Mary’s Place’s requests, when converting the office building into a shelter, was to have separate rooms for the families to sleep in peacefully, creating a challenge since the building is a typical office tower.

The project designers found a solution to the problem after realizing that ‘for the highest-quality sleep that you can get in a communal environment, you don’t need a window,’ Graphite Design’s Peter Krech told Fast Company.

Instead, ‘You need an acoustic door, you need an acoustic ceiling, and you need a really comfortable space. But you can give the daylight and the high-value experiential spaces to the community and social spaces, and you can take the sleeping program and really make it purpose-built,’ he added.

Two of the floors in the new shelter are dedicated to medically-fragile children. There’s also a program for new moms and their babies

The shelter is practicing strict sanitary measures and social distancing during the coronavirus pandemic. Only 50 families are staying in the shelter right now

The shelter also has communal laundry machines and dryers for residents to use

Communal meeting spaces have been set up for residents to use while practicing for job interviews or filling out school forms and getting legal help

The shelter offers computers for residents to use while job searching or doing homework

Two of the shelter’s eight floors have been set aside for medically-fragile children and on-site healthcare is available to them, while rooms have also been set aside for residents and volunteers – including Amazon employees – to use as community center-like meeting spaces.

While the coronavirus pandemic is ongoing, the shelter is housing 50 families – each in private rooms – and following a strict cleaning schedule and social distancing rules. It is also offering access to coronavirus testing.

Under normal circumstances, the shelter is expected to be able to provide housing for more than 1,000 families a year.

Mary’s Place Family Center in The Regrade is now the largest family shelter in Washington state, according to Amazon and Mary’s Place.

‘This new shelter, opening when it did, has been our saving grace,’ Mary’s Place executive director Marty Hartman said in the press release. ‘It was our neighbors at Amazon who recognized what we needed before we ever realized it, and this space ensures we don’t have to return families to homelessness during this unprecedented and trying time.’

Hartman also noted that at the new shelter, ‘our kids are able to safely finish school – our employees watch children for extended hours to support working parents who lost access to childcare – and moms and dads are able to search for new jobs on new laptops.’

The shelter plans were first announced in 2017, with Amazon offering free rent and utilities to Mary’s Place.

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos posted pictures of the new space on his Instagram account Thursday and thanked Mary’s Place ‘for their partnership in bringing this creative solution to life. #NoChildSleepsOutside.’

Meghan King Has Herself A Hunky New Boyfriend After Jim Edmonds Split! Details HERE!

It’s like falling in love all over again!

Meghan King, fresh off the tumultuous end of her relationship with former MLB star Jim Edmonds, is getting a fresh start in the world of romance with a new man by her side! Now, a little over six months after the reality TV star’s messy divorce from the ex-ballplayer first hit the headlines, it really seems like Meghan is ready to move on.

According to a source who confirmed the relationship first with E! News, the former Real Housewives of Orange County star is dating entrepreneur Christian Schauf. It’s unclear how the 35-year-old mom came across the bearded hunk, as he’s based in Utah and she spends her time in the OC, but here we are!

Schauf, who describes himself as “a serial adventurer, athlete, entrepreneur, and philanthropist,” is the founder of a company that sells emergency preparedness kits — how appropriate in this crazy year of 2020! — and also hosts a podcast called Life Uncharted. On his personal website, the formerly single guy shares:

“In his downtime he lends aid to those in need, performs charity work in the world’s most dangerous cities, and chases adventure in every sense of the word.”

Sounds like… an adventure! Ha!!!

The couple is said to be spending lots of time together right now while her kids — daughter Aspen and twin boys Hayes and Hart — are quarantined in St. Louis with their dad.

Either way, with Jim having moved on already into a new relationship with Kortnie O’Connor, it’s only fair Meghan can now have some fun in her love life, too. Happy to see it, and happy for her!

Of course, Kortnie infamously had a threesome with the now-estranged couple before their split, so… yeah, strange bedfellows indeed. Did Schauf have a threesome with ’em, too, and that’s like a pre-requisite for dating Jim or Meghan from here on out? JK! LOLz!!!

Jokes aside, it seems like King has met an interesting new match, for sure. At least this will give her some kind of positive thing in her life even while she and the former St. Louis Cardinals outfielder hash out their bitter divorce drama.

What do y’all make of the new guy, Perezcious readers?? Hunky as can be, or what?! Sound OFF with your take on the former reality TV star’s bearded beau down in the comments (below)!!!

June Shannon Gets Family Stalked by Thugs Over Drug Debts!

June Shannon’s downward spiral was frightening to her loved ones, and not just because they feared that she would die.

In addition to selling off her family’s belongings to fuel her drug binges, June went into debt with the wrong people.

Family friend Big Mike sat down with Doe Doe, June’s sister, on the latest episode of Mama June: Family Crisis.

“I just heard through the grapevine that [June] owes the wrong people a lot of f–king money,” Big Mike warns.

“Back in the day,” he confides, “I ran with the wrong crowd and the wrong people.”

Mike shares that these are “the same people that, matter of fact, June and them mess with.”

‘I know some of these guys they’re f–king with and they’re gonna get them,” Mike fears.

‘I’m telling you,” he says to the camera, “you best pay up.”

Big Mike then recalls having been shot and stabbed multiple times and being beaten up with a baseball bat.

The implications are not good for June or for her family.

Assuming that neither Mike’s concerns nor the entire situation are cooked up for drama …

… Mike has a conspicuous swastika tattoo which is why his arms are always covered or blurred.

Was her previously affiliated with a gang of white neo-nazis? Such gangs are often a source of hard drugs in the rural South.

(By the way, there are charities that help people remove racist tattoos that Big Mike could go to … just saying)

Big Mike claims that he was concerned from the start of June’s romance with Geno that she might get into trouble.

Geno, he says, tends to act up and, when he does, it’s always a disaster.

Did he really warn June of that or is this just hindsight and reality TV drama talking?

Either way, he tells “June” (the camera) that he told her so.

They then talk about how June has lost everything but her life and her house itself.

(Fortunately, she is still alive, but the part about her home ownership has changed dramatically since this scene was filmed)

Mike predicts that these dangerous men will inevitably find a way to get to her — directly or indirectly.

Meanwhile, Doe Doe concludes that this is why June did not show up to court, out of fear that these men would follow her.

But June maintaining her own physical safety for the time being is not enough to free her family from the consequences of her actions.

They have barely had time to process the knowledge that June has sold some of their belongings.

Lauryn says that she has seen the same suspicious car outside of the driveway.

Coupled with the knowledge that June has gone into debt with the wrong people, they decide to play it safe.

Lauryn speaks to production and they determine that it may be safer for the time being to go to a hotel.

There seems to be a real fear of physical, violent retaliation in an effort to send a message to June.

Again, this storyline seems almost unbelievable to some of us, to the point where it seems like an invention of production to add drama.

But then … June’s life has been so different from most people’s. She grew up eating roadkill. This could be legit, right?

Vicious loan shark goons or not, if June misses her next court date, there will be a warrant out for her arrest.

Additionally, Alana enters Lauryn’s daughter into a child beauty pageant, because those are still unfortunately legal.

(It’s not Alana’s fault that she hasn’t fully processed how damaging that industry is on children. Most kids do not get rich and famous from it)

Meanwhile, Jennifer Lamb enters her own granddaughter into the pageant, with worse results. LOL.

‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’: Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley Tried to Hook Up With Pauly D After Filing for Divorce

DJ Pauly DelVecchio and Jenni “JWoww” Farley were moments away from hooking up on the May 7 episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. Much to the surprise of fans, this wasn’t the first time Farley attempted to start something with her Jersey Shore roomie.

During the episode, Farley talked about trying to hook up with DelVecchio before her divorce was finalized and admitted wanting to explore a relationship with him.

Pauly D and ‘JWoww’ didn’t hook up

During the May 7 episode, Vinny Guadagnino was the most excited about the prospect of his best friend and Farley hooking up. “I 100 percent want Pauly and Jenni to hook up,” Guadagnino said. “To see Jenni hook up with Pauly now, that would be like watching greatness all over again. That would be like if Michael Jordan decided to play one more game with Scottie Pippen, just for old time’s sake. The fact that we’re even talking about this, I’m like, Woah. Ten years later, full circle.”

Unfortunately for everyone involved — including their nosey roomies — the two went to bed alone. “I would put it right in, but I have too much respect for her,” DelVecchio told his roommates.

“JWoww, I will never disrespect you like that,” he said to Farley. “You know that, right? I will never make you do anything that would jeopardize anything.” At the time, Farley was dealing with the repercussions of Zack “24” Carpinello’s actions in Las Vegas, and DelVecchio didn’t want to jeopardize that.

‘JWoww’ tried to spend the night with Pauly D before

After DelVecchio returned to his hotel room, Farley had an exciting conversation with Angelina Pivarnick. “I am 100 percent single,” she told Pivarnick, who was confused why DelVecchio would pass up the opportunity to be with Farley.

“[But] remember that time we were in New York City? He shut the door on me,” Farley said. “Me and Pauly had a nice dinner together that night. And then we went home together. And he shut the door on me.”

After filing for divorce from Roger Mathews in Sept. 2018, Farley told the confessional cameras that she tried to explore a relationship with DelVecchio. “Pauly and I have this weird past,” Farley said. “He surprised me for my birthday and I went back to his hotel room and it just didn’t work out like that. So I decided to just end it there.”

Up until that point, it seemed as though DelVecchio was the one who had been consistently turned down by Farley. However, she was hurt when DelVecchio denied her in the past. “I mean, obviously, [being denied] was terrible. So yeah, I really don’t know what to say. I would have totally went and did dirty things with Pauly,” Farley added.

Confused, Pivarnick confronted DelVecchio to clear things up about his past with Farley.

Pauly D waited too long

In the other hotel room, DelVecchio explained his side of the story to Pivarnick. “Obviously I wanted to [hook up with Jenni], but I didn’t know if I was supposed to cross that line or not,” DelVecchio said of the night he and Farley spent in New York. “And then I slept on it and dude swooped in,” he added, referring to Carpinello. “At that point, I didn’t even know she wanted to. What happens if I do it, and she gets back with the dude tomorrow?” he asked.

‘JWoww’ would date DJ Pauly D

Perhaps the most exciting thing to come out of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation is the prospect that Farley and DelVecchio could end up together.

“I love Pauly for so many reasons, and I feel like because of that, there actually would have to be substance there before I actually sleep with him,” Farley admitted. In other words, she would want to give a relationship with DelVecchio a serious try before ever sleeping with him. “Because this isn’t 10 years ago, so I don’t want to be just one of those girls that like him because of his success. I also don’t want to be treated like one of those girls, either.”

The episode concluded with Farley adding that she “would be very open to talking to Pauly,” but she had yet to see that DelVecchio reciprocate that desire.

Today, Farley is back with Carpinello, but will she ever get around to exploring a relationship with DelVecchio? Jersey Shore fans hope so!

Winston Churchill family tree – from grandchildren to Princess Diana – The Sun

WINSTON Churchill may be one of the UK's most iconic figureheads- but it's hard to keep up with the ever expanding clan.

Despite the legend having passed away in 1965, his family has continued to expand. Here's all you need to know about Winston Churchill's family.

Who are Winston Churchill's children?

Winston Churchill has quite a brood thanks to his 57 year marriage.

His five children are:

  • Diana Churchill (1909–1963)

Diana Churchill was the eldest daughter of Sir Winston Churchill.

She married twice and divorced twice.

She had three children with her second husband.

Diana Spencer-Churchill died by suicide aged 54.

  • Randolph Churchill (1911–1968)

Randolph was Winston Churchill's second child and only son.

Randolph was a journalist and later went on to be Conservative Member of Parliament.

  • Sarah Churchill (1914–1982)

Sarah Spencer-Churchill was an actress and an dancer.

She was known for her flamboyant lifestyle which overshadowed her acting career.

After suffering from an undisclosed illness, Sarah Spencer-Churchill died in her London home aged 67.

Sarah married three times but never had children.

  • Marigold Churchill (1918–1921)

Winston Churchill's third daughter and fourth child, Marigold Churchill, was born shortly after the First World War, in November 1918.

However, Marigold died of septicaemia seven weeks before her third birthday.

  • Mary Churchill (1922–2014)

Mary Churchill was Winston's youngest child.

Yet she lived to be the oldest of his five children.

She lived to be 91 years old and had five children of her own with aristocrat husband Baron Christopher Soames.

Who are Winston Churchill's grandchildren?

Winston Churchill has ten grandchildren, despite the fact that only three of his five children had families of their own.

  • Diana Churchill's children – Julian Sandys, Celia Sandys and Edwina Sandys
  • Randolph Churchill's children – Winston Churchill and Arabella Churchill
  • Mary Churchill's children – Nicholas Soames, Emma Soames, Charlotte Clementine Soames, Rupert Soames, Jeremy Bernard Soames

How is Winston Churchill related to Princess Diana?

Princess Diana was related to a lot of prominent people in history.

However, looking at the Spencer family tree, the Princess was also related to Winston Churchill.

The former Prime minister and the late princess were distant cousins and shared some relatives.

The two were allegedly related to a man named Charles Spencer (1675-1722), who was the third Earl of Sunderland and his wife, Lady Anne Spencer, whose maiden name was Churchill.

The couple were Winston Churchill’s great-great-great-great-great-grandparents and Princess Diana’s great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandparents.

Who Did Winston Churchill marry?

Winston Churchill met his wife-to-be, Clementine Ogilvy Hozier, in 1904 at a ball in Crewe House.

In 1908, they met again at a dinner party hosted by Lady St Helier, who was a distant relative of Clementine's.

After five months of meeting each other at social events, as well as frequent correspondence, Winston proposed to Clementine during a house party at Blenheim Place in August 1908.

The couple married on September, 12, 1908 and went on to have five children together.

Peter Weber & Kelley Flanagan’s Families Are ‘So Happy’ They’re Officially An Ite

Third time’s a charm, baby!

ICYMI, Peter Weber is officially off the market and “fully dating” his former Bachelor contestant Kelley Flanagan after weeks of teasing their relationship on social media. While the pilot’s whirlwind of a season and controversial post-show decisions might have left some fans bitter, the new couple’s friends and loved ones truly couldn’t be happier for them right now!

A source close to the situation told Us Weekly about how the pair’s inner circle has given them the thumbs-up:

“All of their friends and family are so happy for them.”

Late last month, before Peter and Kelley were comfortable with becoming Instagram and TikTok official, a different insider told the outlet they were still hesitant about their romance and struggled with “admitting it to people.” But they’ve since thrown caution to the wind and are fully leaning into this thing! We mean, just look at this adorable shot Weber posted (below) of himself and Flanagan. The “you caught me” really says it all!

You caught me. Let the adventure begin 💫

A post shared by Peter Weber (@pilot_pete) on

This was a much sweeter approach to the news than the snarky video they made singing Akon‘s Don’t Matter, but either way, the message is clear! As the confidant explained to Us:

“This was just their way of announcing they’re a couple to the world.”

Nice! But just for good measure, Pete’s mom Barbara also went ahead and posted her own tribute to the happy couple, too! The Weber matriarch has been a vocal fan of the Chicago-based attorney for a little while now and lovingly referred to her son’s relationship as “serendipity” in a new post, seen here:

Contrary to the other Bachelor quarantine romances happening out there, these two seem like they’re serious about going the distance! It looks like Peter and Kelley are going to continue sheltering-in-place together in Chicago for the foreseeable future and according to what Bachelorette alum Dustin Kendrick dished to Us Weekly recently, they’ve got a great dynamic going for them right now:

“I think it’s fair for them to come out and say what they want to say, but the only thing I can say is that they look really cute together and their interactions are really cute as well. I’m sure you’ll be possibly hearing stuff in the future from them, but I’ll let them say that.”

Cheers to the happy couple!

Kourtney Kardashian Shares Sweet Message To Daughter Penelope Amid Scott Disick Rehab Drama: ‘Love Yours

The never-ending dramas of Kourtney Kardashian‘s life appear to be continuing at breakneck pace right now, but she’s playing it cool with a very mature, zen-like perspective.

The 41-year-old reality TV star has been involved in a whirlwind of rehab news surrounding her ex-BF and co-parenting partner Scott Disick right now, but it appears she’s focused on making things as healthy and holistic as possible for her lovely family, even during the darkest hours.

On Monday evening, right after Scott’s rehab news made its way across the media world, Kourtney posted a calming, inspirational message to her Instagram account. It was entirely a mother-daughter thing, too, with the Poosh founder directing the pic (which you can see, above) and special message to her beloved 7-year-old daughter Penelope Disick.

Writing to her middle child, the reality TV maven shared (below):

Love yourself first, chase your dreams, make mistakes (and learn from them), believe in God’s plan, you are more beautiful than you will ever know, and oh so smart, there is no one else like you in the entire world, you are loved. Things I tell my daughter.”

Awwwww! That’s really, really sweet — and very smart and meaningful coming from mom!

Would she share the same message with oldest son Mason right now, too? Or is he more deserving of a “stay off social media or else” inspirational photo?! Just saying! LOLz!!!

Seriously, though, even Kourt’s little sis Khloé was floored by the sweet message! The Revenge Body host and proud momma herself gushed over it, calling it “the best advice” in a comment soon after the photo was posted.

Of course, Kourt and her family have been going through something of a rough patch recently, for several reasons. Scott’s scary “spiraling” and recent rehab stint in Colorado tops the list, of course, but her own uncomfortable reality TV career and increasingly-contentious business relationship with her sisters has made things difficult, as well.

It seems like there’s a lot going on even when there’s nothing happening due to extended quarantines and self-isolation. We’re all in this together — and we really mean it!

All any of us can do is take things one day at a time, we suppose. Here’s to Kourt handing out many more life lessons to Penelope, Mason, and Reign in the years to come. She’s got the perfect touch as a wonderful mom, doesn’t she?!

Police shut down family playing coronavirus concert for neighbours in their garden claiming it breaks lockdown rules – The Sun

POLICE were filmed shutting down a coronavirus concert performed by a family string quartet after they feared it would break lockdown rules.

The talented family, based in Bayswater, London, had been entertaining residents with their music for six weeks and were in the middle of a performance when police arrived at their property.

Violinist Rafael Todes, 53, a member of the Allegri String Quartet, his wife Helena Newman, and children Isabella and Max had been performing for their neighbours in their front garden when police arrived.

The two police officers informed the family that their music may encourage residents to gather on the street flouting lockdown rules.

Footage filmed by the family showed one of the police officers apologetically tell them: "I don't enjoy this part of the job but it's going to cause the street to keep gathering.

"I'm not here to fine you don't worry but the whole street can't be doing this.

"I hear what you're doing, it's good music but obviously it's going to keep causing the street to block. I do apologise, it's very good."

A message on the dad's Facebook page later read: "The final pop-up Alexander Street Quartet Concert. Shostakovich's 4th Quartet closed down by the Police -tactfully!"

Mr Todes, who is a teacher at the Royal Academy of Music, said that the family first began their street performances after a resident requested a concert for another neighbour's birthday.

The violinist told The Daily Telegraph: "About five weeks ago a neighbour asked us during lockdown whether we could do a little concert for the lady who lived upstairs.

"So we did that and people in the street watched and somebody said ''you've got to do this again next week''."

Mr Todes and his family are currently fundraising for St John's Hospice on their JustGiving page.

The scene comes as the PM prepares to warn Britons that relaxing on the social distancing measures could lead to a second spike of the virus.

Mr Johnson is expected to explain more about the easing of lockdown measures in his first press conference since beating the virus.

Recent death toll figures show that the virus has now claimed the lives of more than 26,000 people in the UK.

Muslim family unable to visit mosque during Ramadan build one in their home

Muslims are spending Ramadan at home in these unprecedented times.

During the holy month, it’s possible to frequent mosques up to five times a day for each prayer – particularly the congregational Taraweeh prayers, which are longer and are performed at night.

But the coronavirus pandemic has halted all forms of worshipping in mosques, churches, gurdwaras and the like, so one Muslim family living in Wales has decided to get creative.

Shaz Miah, his wife, and kids from Newport built their own mosque at home, complete with mosque-inspired decor including a dome and minarets on each side.

And it was all done in a day.

For many Muslims there simply isn’t enough space for the whole family to worship together, but for Shaz, who also lives with his parents, the mini mosque means that the family won’t have to miss out on the unity of praying in congregation.

‘The current lockdown situation will mean Muslims across the UK and the globe do Ramadan very differently,’ Shaz tells

‘There will be no congregational prayers in mosques, there will be no family get-togethers and no socialising with friends, but we have to make the best of what we have.

‘Like thousands of Muslims, we are planning to spend Ramadan as best we can during the lockdown.

‘We have transformed a room in our house into a mini mosque so that we can all pray together in congregation.

‘Building the mosque was great fun, my three children Safwan, Marjan and Mijan, gave their ideas.

‘Having built the mini mosque they now feel more spiritually connected when offering their prayer. I hope this mini mosque has inspired people to do the same because it’s fun and children feel part of the whole process.’

Shaz, who runs an Indian restaurant, thinks the DIY project won’t replicate the atmosphere of a mosque but will give it a similar vibe.

Where the family lives in Newport, there are roughly seven or eight mosques and some of them will transmit the call to prayer – the adhaan – live, meaning households will be able to hear it for the first time.

Shaz reckons Ramadan under lockdown is the perfect opportunity to bond with our nearest and dearest.

He adds: ‘This is a perfect setting and a rare opportunity for families to spiritually connect and spend the month of Ramadan together.

‘I live with mum and dad, my wife, and my three children. We have lived in Newport all of our lives. My dad is normally very active as he would go to the mosque five times a day no matter what, and normally he would go for walks and meet his friends.

‘But now we all have to stay home. We as a family have found ways to spend our time during the lockdown in Ramadan – praying in congregation, having family meals together, reading the Quran, doing some gardening, playing cultural board games such as the Carrom Board, exercising together, playing table tennis, helping with cooking meals and so on.

‘It is important to keep busy spiritually, physically and mentally.’

Shaz wants to help others as much as he can, which is why during lockdown he’s offered free meals from his business, Indian Restaurant Monmouth, to the vulnerable and elderly.

He also wants to raise money for orphans in Bangladesh, where he is originally from.

‘Fasting during Ramadan is supposed to teach Muslims about patience and spiritual things,’ says Shaz.

‘It is a time for Muslims to think about the poor, homeless, and needy.’

You can read more about this project on his GoFundMe page or donate to the cause.

West Midlands police have blasted Covid idiots after released bodycam footage of a family tucking into a huge feast on their driveway

Police caught the family eating kebab and chips around dining tables next to the path on the evening of Good Friday

A police patrol pulled up outside the mid-terraced property at 6.40pm where the family were eating kebabs and chips around dining tables right next to the path.

One officer asks the group: ‘What’s going on guys?

‘You need to put all this away.
