The US is continuing its social distancing guidelines through theend of April, which will prevent Harry and Meghan from traveling. The couplerecently flew to Los Angeles, where they will likely remain until the crisis isunder control.
Given all these restrictions, we do not know what Harry and Meghan will be able to do in the coming months. The two are currently working on becoming financially independent, but that will be difficult amid the pandemic.
Meghan reportedly kept Harry from returning home
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex traveled to their new home in LosAngeles right before the US and Canada closed their borders. The move alsocoincided with the announcement that Prince Charles had tested positive for thecoronavirus.
Many royal watchers expected Harry to return to the UK in a showof solidarity for the royal family. According to FoxNews, Meghan pulled the plug on that idea and forced Harry to stayhome.
“Under no circumstances is she okay with him travelinganywhere right now,” a source shared.
The insider added that Prince Harry has talked to Prince Charles since his diagnosis. The Sussexes are also sad that they cannot do more to help Charles, who has only displayed mild symptoms and is currently out of self-isolation.
While there is little Harry and Meghan could do for the royalfamily, fans have criticized their decision to go to Los Angeles instead of theUK.
Do Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have a plan?
As part of their exit deal, Harry and Meghan will not use their HRH titles. This means the couple will have to rebrand their main charitable foundation, Sussex Royal, which they launched last year.
Prince Harry and Meghan have not revealed what they will call theirnew organization, but they have made it clear that it will not be the same asSussex Royal. It is unclear what they have planned, but fans can rest assuredthat the Sussexes will continue projects that are close to their hearts.

Although they are currently under lockdown in California, insidesources claim that they are actively building a team. The two have reportedlybeen calling potential staff members and are working to build patronages.
They will also be renaming their website and Instagram account, though it is anyone’s guess what name they will select. The only thing we knowfor sure is that it will not contain the word “royal.”
How will Harry and Meghan pay for security?
With Prince Harry and Meghan’s exit finalized, they can no longer rely on the crown for security. If the couple was hoping that the US would fit the bill, they better have a backup plan.
According to TheHill, President Donald Trump recently revealed that Harry and Meghanneed to pay for their own security if they decide to relocate to the US. Trumptweeted the message shortly after Harry and Meghan landed in Los Angeles.
“I am a great friend and admirer of the Queen & theUnited Kingdom. It was reported that Harry and Meghan, who left the Kingdom, would reside permanently in Canada. Now they have left Canada for the U.S.however, the U.S. will not pay for their security protection. They mustpay!” Trump shared.
Prince Harry and Meghan originally announced their departure fromthe royal family in January. They have spent the past few months working outthe final details of their exit, which became official on March 31.
The royals will re-examine Harry and Meghan’s exit plan in 12months. Exactly what that entails remains to be seen, but it does not soundlike the Sussexes are planning on coming back to the monarchy anytime soon.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not commented on the reports surrounding their exit.
