Writing a seven-day self-isolation diary for The Sunday Times, Kirstie explained how the couple took their four kids – Oscar, 11, Bay, 13, Hal, 17, and Lydia, 19 – out of school after Ben was diagnosed and brought them to their home in Devon to self-isolate.

Kirstie wrote: "We’re not separating within the house […] But we’re not sharing bathrooms, towels, utensils etc."

The star also fears Ben may have passed on the disease to her sister, who has been showing signs while self-isolating at her home in Edinburgh.

Describing her sister's symptoms, Kirstie added: "She's really unwell, totally bedridden and feeling as if she has 'smoked a packet of B&H every day for the past 20 years."

Earlier this week, Kirstie appeared on Good Morning Britain where she said she was "pretty sure" she'd had the illness after developing a "slight tightness in her chest".

Although they originally thought they would have to self-isolate for only seven days, the family had to remain in their Devon home for a full two weeks to avoid infecting others.

It was while Kirstie's family were already in lockdown that Boris Johnson urged the public to avoid any essential travel and remain at home.

However, the star has faced backlash online since the piece was published on Sunday as fans criticised her for taking her family to Devon rather than remaining in London.

As well as being labelled an "entitled princess" by one Twitter user, another wrote: "She deemed herself too important to heed the advice of no unnecessary travel and bring her family ( with a confirmed case) to her second home in Devon."

A third raged: "Absolutely not surprised at the entitlement from Kirstie Allsopp who brought her family – infected with coronavirus and travel to Devon from London.

A British tourist has been slammed for flying to a tourist hot spot shortly after being diagnosed with coronavirus despite being told to self-isolate.

The woman, 36, who had been in Australia less than a week, tested positive for the illness in Sydney before travelling to Hamilton Island on Friday, in Queensland’s Whitsundays.

NSW health authorities contacted their counterparts in Queensland, who tracked the woman down on a beach on Sunday, the Courier Mail reports.

She spent the night in isolation on the island before being taken by boat to Mackay, where she is currently in hospital.

The UK national is understood to have told health authorities that she did not understand their instruction to self isolate upon receiving her results.

Hamilton Island spokeswoman confirmed in a statement that an international visitor  had tested positive for COVID-19.

‘Hamilton Island would like to stress that the safety and wellbeing of our guests and staff on the island is of utmost priority,’ it read.

‘We would like to remind anyone travelling to the island about the importance of strictly following the advice of the government and health authorities during this uncertain time.’

The spokeswoman said Queensland Health advised there would be no need to close the island as the incident was a ‘very low risk’.

The holidaymaker’s case has been listed under NSW’s coronavirus figures.

Health authorities demand that anyone being tested for COVID-19 should remain in quarantine while they await the results.

People that test positive are then required to isolate at home for 14 days, if they are not sick enough to be admitted to hospital.

There are currently 452 confirmed cases of the deadly virus in Australia, including 78 in Queensland.

Drake Slammed Over Michael Jackson Reference on New Song ‘When to Say When’

On the song, the Canadian rapper appears to make reference to music icon Michael Jackson and his Neverland home and that unsurprisingly doesn’t sit well with MJ’s fans.

AceShowbizDrake excited fans when he released two new songs, “When to Say When” and “Chicago Freestyle”, on Sunday morning, March 1. On the former, the Canadian rapper appears to make reference to music icon Michael Jackson and his Neverland home and that unsurprisingly doesn’t sit well with MJ’s fans.

The song features the “In My Feelings” rapping about his accomplishments and how he goes back to his Canadian mansion to take a break over the past year. “Ayy, thirty-three years, I gave that to the game/ Thirty-three mill’, I save that for the ring/ Five hundred weeks, I fill the charts with my pain/ Five hundred mil and I fall back in the 6ix,” so Drizzy raps.

Later he adds, “Finally give you the n****s the space you need to exist/ Michael Jackson s**t/ but the palace is not for kids.” Drake is most likely referring to Michael’s famous home where the singer was accused of molesting Wade Robson and James Safechuck during their childhood.

“Drake coming for Michael Jackson? Oh he’s gonna get dragged ALL the way back to the Canadian border,” one fan commented on the lyrics. “Drake b***h go f**k yourself. You’re not worthy of mentioning Michael Jackson’s name let alone shade him in your ugly a** songs just for clicks. Stop using his name for clout, clown,” one other hotly tweeted.

“so Drake wants to drop Michael Jackson p*dophile jokes but spend money on a damn unreleased verse for his last album. that s**t is disrespectful af,” someone blasted Drizzy. Bringing up rumors of him grooming young artists like Millie Bobby Brown and Billie Eilish, one user wrote, “Drake really should’ve avoided that Michael Jackson line considering his own history with underage women.”

However, some others jumped to Drake’s defense quickly. “I didn’t take the Michael Jackson line as disrespect .. Clever fact… Drake walked that thin line tastefully and witty in my opinion,” a person shared. Meanwhile, someone else compared the situation to Nicki Minaj‘s controversial Rosa Parks lyrics on “Yikes”.
