Coronation Street spoilers: Tracy Barlow and Steve McDonald in shock joint exit

Tracy Barlow (played by Kate Ford) and Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) have been struggling recently and looking for ways to spice up their relationship, but the couple could be leaving the cobbles for a different reason very soon. Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) has been struggling since his wife Sinead Tinker (Katie McGlynn) died last year, but after proposing to Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) in recent scenes, Tracy and Simon could be looking to help however they can.

It’s been a rocky road for Daniel, not only did his wife Sinead die tragically last year, but he was also left with baby Bertie.

As viewers will remember, just before Sinead died, Daniel and Bethany shared a kiss, and the two have been on and off since.

But when Daniel proposed to Bethany, with Sinead’s ring, it proved he wasn’t really over his wife.

Tracy and Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) and Ken Barlow (Bill Roache) recently encouraged the troubled young man to retreat to Scotland to work himself out, but could they all be next?

  • Coronation Street fans think Geoff Metcalfe is poisoning Yasmeen

In upcoming scenes, it seems Tracy and Steve could be looking to make the same move.

Bethany ended things with Daniel after the shock proposal but decided to bargain with him.

She agreed she would move to Scotland too and live nearby so that Daniel wouldn’t be completely alone with Bertie.

After a lot of fighting, Daniel agreed and the three left the cobbles.

Tracy and Steve have only recently bought Ken’s house after he finally agreed to move to Still Waters’s retirement home.

The pair have even taken on Ken’s dog Eccles after he made an emotional farewell to the cobbles after 60 years.

However, Tracy and Steve will make the decision to visit Scotland just as Emma Brooker (Alexandra Mardell) breaks up with Seb Franklin (Harry Visioni).

But will Tracy be left to go alone? Or will Emma join them?

Emma hasn’t been able to get over the fact that Seb was visibly jealous when David Platt (Jack. P. Shepherd) started dating his ex-Alina Pop (Ruxandra Porojnicu).

But Emma will tell Seb to move out for good in upcoming scenes and could be leaving for Scotland with her dad.

Steve will tell Emma that they could be gone for good, but Emma will assure him that things will be fine.

Will she return though? Or is this Emma’s last time in Weatherfield?

  • Ryan Thomas: Why did he leave Coronation Street?

Elsewhere on Coronation Street,  fans have been left unsettled by Yasmeen Nazir’s (Shelley King) coercive control storyline, which has seen her new husband Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholemew) take over her life.

But in upcoming scenes she could be forced to choose between the evil Geoff and her granddaughter Alya Nazir (Sair Khan).

Viewers want to know when this story will end though as Geoff’s abuse has gone from emotional to psychological.

Will Yasmeen be able to escape Geoff’s abusive clutches before it’s too late?

Coronation Street continues Monday on ITV at 7.30pm.

Vanderpump Rules' Lala Kent Breaks Down in Tears Over Postponed Wedding Due to Coronavirus: 'It's Okay to Be Sad'

Even though she knows it’s for the best, Lala Kent is struggling with the reality of having to postpone her wedding.

The Vanderpump Rules star became emotional while discussing the decision to move her wedding with fiancé Randall Emmett from April to July in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.

“I’m going through my planner and I put my wedding day on April 18 in pen because I didn’t think I would need to erase it at any point,” Kent said on the latest episode of their podcast Give Them Lala… with Randall.

Kent broke down in tears as she recalled having to cancel all of the couple’s pre-wedding plans and honeymoon.

“It’s okay babe,” said Emmett, trying to comfort Kent. “It’s okay to be sad. I don’t think people realize how devastating it is for someone to have a wedding [canceled].”

While the couple acknowledged that others have been affected far worse by the fallout from the coronavirus, they admitted that they have been extra emotional during this time.

“I’ve watched you cry and you’ve seen me upset,” said Emmett. “We had a full-out cryfest a week ago when we first made the decisions [to postpone].”

“I don’t think anyone is prepared for this,” he added.

Earlier this month, the couple exclusively told PEOPLE that their nuptials are on hold until the summer.

“We have decided to move the date of our wedding to July given the unfortunate circumstances of what is going on,” the couple said in a statement. “We are obviously saddened by this but for the ultimate safety of our families and guests, we have made the decision to wait and see how everything progresses. Safety will always be our number one priority.”

On their podcast, the couple said that while this isn’t what they envisioned for their wedding day, they are still looking forward to getting married.

“No matter what day we choose, it’s still going to be [special],” said Kent.

“I love you and I know it’s sad. We love each other and we’re here and we’re safe. At the end of the day, a lot of people would pick this spot,” said Emmett.

The couple got engaged in September 2018 during a romantic trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

“This weekend has been an amazing one for the two of us! It was definitely the most romantic moment of my life. Every detail of the surprise was stunning and I’m still in shock,” Kent told PEOPLE after Emmett’s proposal.

Vanderpump Rules airs Tuesdays (9 p.m. ET) on Bravo.

Friday Night Dinner: Do brothers Adam and Jonny get on in real life? Stars reveal all

Friday Night Dinner is a hilarious comedy series on Channel 4 which centres around the Goodman family. The British Jewish Family have a tradition of getting together on a Friday night for a family meal. The cast spoke exclusively to the media, including, about their relationships off screen.

Friday Night Dinner is one of the most popular comedies on Channel 4 and the series features the much-loved Goodmans.

The sitcom stars Tamsin Greig as mum Jackie, Paul Ritter as dad Martin, Simon Bird as son Adam and Tom Rosenthal as son Jonny, with Mark Heap playing neighbour Jim.

Fans have waited almost two years for the series to return, and it depicts the traditional Shabbat dinner.

The family is known to have their tiffs, especially brothers Jonny and Adam who are always trying to outdo each other.

  • Inbetweeners fans left ‘cringing’ at ‘uncomfortable to watch’ reunion

Fans have noticed how they get more and more heated with each other across the series and the stars have revealed whether they acted the same in real life.

Tamsin Greig, who plays the loving mother Jackie, said: “Tom doesn’t have a sibling in real life so he comes to work in order to be a brother.

“I think in this series there is a greater intensity and Jackie is considerably more violent.”

Jackie is known to playfully wallop her sons and husband when they do something to annoy her and fans can expect to see more funny tiffs.

Tom Rosenthal, who plays younger son and estate agent Jonny, said he and co-star Simon Bird get up to all sorts of mischief on set.

He said: “Off camera the action is very similar, we will throw grapes in each other’s mouths.

“I hurt myself once when I was holding a door closed and my ligament popped out of my leg, it was apparently harrowing for everyone else.”

Simon Bird, who has also starred in the classic comedy The Inbetweeners, and Rosenthal are always messing around and joking with each other, whether it is on or off camera.

Their family dinners are always interrupted by something unusual happening, whether it is a prank or a visit from their strange neighbour Jim.

The one thing keeping viewers coming back is the fact the series depicts a close family bond, which households across the country resonate with.

Tamsin said: “I think it’s really wonderful that what captured the imagination of teenagers is there is always a place to come home [to].”

Simon Bird added: “I think it’s great it’s a family show they can watch together, it’s funny and it has that Channel 4 freshness.

“I love how families can watch it together.”

  • Friday Night Dinner stars Simon Bird and Tom Rosenthal talk returns

In the new series Martin is trying to convince the family to appreciate his new grotty caravan which is taking up the front driveway.

Neighbour Jim has also welcomed a new dog into the household, and fans are excited to find out more about his furry friend.

Jackie is also delighted to see the boys have both got new girlfriends, which means new cast members have been added to the series.

Fans will see the family’s bond tested as their arguments escalate in the new series, and the oddities they face become even stranger.

One fan said on Twitter: “New series of Friday Night Dinner can’t come soon enough”, with another saying: “Friday Night Dinner is the only good thing to come out of March”.

Lucifer season 6 release date: Has Maze star confirmed return? ‘It would be fun’

Netflix announced last year Lucifer would be coming to an end on the streaming platform after its upcoming fifth outing. However, talks began in February which hinted the show could be saved once again. In a new interview, Lesley-Ann Brandt has given fans some insight into what is next for the show.

Will there be a season 6 of Lucifer?

Lucifer has already been saved once from cancellation after Fox dropped the series at the end of season three.

Netflix picked it up then and renewed it for seasons four and five before announcing it would be coming to an end again.

However, back in February, new reports from TV Line suggested Netflix and Warner Brother TV were in conversation to continue the show.

After this, news emerged of Lucifer star Tom Ellis renewing his contract, as well as the showrunners.

  • Lucifer season 5 cast: Who is Rachael Harris?

All seemed to be going ahead with the new season and one cast member even seemingly leaked it was happening.

Posting on Instagram Live after the filming was shut down, Linda star Rachael Harris said: “We have Lucifer season five, we’re getting ready to do season six.”

Now in a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, actor Lesley-Ann Brandt gave some further insight into the future of the show.

When asked if it could return with season six, she said: “I do feel like it would be fun to explore, especially where we end off on season five.

“That being said, I feel like our show is peaking and I want us to end on that – pow. That was amazing.”

At the moment, the end of season five is itself still currently up in the air after filming was shut down following the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak.

The star confirmed they had stopped filming halfway through the finale episode of season five.

However, she explained how the hope is to still release the first half of the show as planned in May or June.

Lucifer season 5: Will the first half still air? Maze star reveals all

She told the publication: “We are so lucky because 99 percent of our show was shot.

“So they can still air the first episodes and I imagine that maybe, I don’t know, but I imagine it’s probably going to be around the same time when we aired the last seasons.

“So maybe May or June? And so we’re covered but there’s so many shows that are three episodes into their season or pilots which now might fall away.”

Netflix has not given an official release date for it but did confirm the show would be airing in two outings on the streaming platform.

There will be 16 episodes in the fifth season of Lucifer with the show set to pick up after Lucifer (played by Tom Ellis) returned to Hell.

  • Lucifer theories: Season 6 to explore Lucifer and Maze’s backstory?

Fans will remember how season five ended with him having to return to restore order to the underworld.

This meant leaving Chloe Decker (Lauren German) heartbroken after they had both finally admitted their feelings to one another.

Not much is known yet about how this will play out when the show finally returns.

However, it seems there could be plenty for heartbreak on the way for the beloved characters.

Lucifer season 5 returns to Netflix later this year.

Home Before Dark: Is Home Before Dark based on a true story? The incredible story

Apple TV is going to be releasing a fresh new drama series called Home Before Dark, which sees a nine-year-old girl called Hilde Lisko (played by Broklynn Prince). Hilde and her family relocate to her journalist father Matthew’s hometown where she starts investigating a long-forgotten case. However, thanks to her unwavering determination, the child journalist goes on a mission to find out the truth.

The show will be coming out on Apple TV globally on April 3 with episodes dropping on a weekly basis.

A trailer for Home Before Dark shows Hilde and her family moving to a quiet town and upon arrival getting a warning from the sheriff not to make any trouble.

Things take a turn as Hilde starts to dig into what seems like a missing person’s case after she unearths an old videotape from the 80s, which features her father as a child.

Before long, Hilde is clashing with local law enforcement as she tries to find out what’s going on.

She also gets into trouble for skipping school to interview a murder suspect.

Home Before Dark makes for a gripping new drama which will have viewers hooked from the get-go.

  • For All Mankind Apple TV Plus release date: How many episodes?

Is Home Before Dark based on a true story?

Home Before Dark has been inspired by real-life child journalist Hilde Lysiak, who reported on murder which happened close to her home.

The series was written by Dana Fox and Dara Resnik, who have created a compelling 10-part drama.

However, only elements of the show are based on facts, such as Lysiak scooping her local newspaper on a murder story, her father quitting journalism and the schoolgirl’s determination to continue reporting the news.

Other aspects are creative licence but at its heart, Home Before Dark is about the pursuit of the truth.

Apple has already given Home Before Dark a renewal for season two in January, months before the show’s premiere.

In an exclusive interview with, Home Before Dark composer Nathan Lanier spoke about working on the show.

Lanier said: “I think the core of the story is about uncovering the truth and lots of times in life there are lots of hidden truths.

“The music plays on this a lot, this steady ticking clock element that moves us through the story as we learn new things about our characters and the story.”

He continued: “Another element in terms of the show that we wanted to add – John and Dana and I talked about this early on – one of the principal themes of the show is empowering children and giving them a voice.

“We thought, ‘Wouldn’t it be great to literally give them a voice in the score?’ And so, we put together a children’s choir and had kids sing on the score.”

The musician went on to say the show wasn’t a children’s TV series per se but a programme featuring kids with a dark tone.

But it was in 2016 when she reported on a murder case close to her home, which thrust her into the spotlight.

Lysiak pipped her local newspaper to the post by breaking the story first with the help of her father Matthew, who had formerly worked for the New York Daily News and would take her into the newsroom.

They also recorded a short video from the crime scene breaking the story as she vowed to continue and investigate further.

In 2017, she became the youngest journalist ever to become a member of the Society of Professional Journalists.

Lysiak was subsequently presented with a Junior Zenger Award for Press Freedom last year and has a book series with publisher Scholastic focusing on her life as a young reporter.

She has also given a speech a commencement speech at West Virginia University’s Reed College of Media about the future of journalism, becoming the youngest person America to do so.

In the speech she called on reporters to focus on fact-based reporting and not to allow personal politics to influence a story when covering the news.

She said: “That’s why I’m very careful to keep my political opinions to myself. I know that as soon as I lose the trust of my reader, I might as well find another job.

“But as long as I have that trust, I can keep going and so will you.”

GMB: Edwina Currie stuns fans as they spot ‘mystery man’ during interview ‘Who is that?’

Good Morning Britain has been working hard to bring original content and exclusive guests to the show since the UK’s lockdown. Every day, many panellists are brought onto the ITV show via video link, and today was no different. This morning saw hosts Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard speaking to Adrian Chiles and Edwina Currie.

However, in the middle of the interview, Ben and Kate noticed a man was descending the stairs which were situated behind Edwina.

Kate pointed out: “Edwina, I think a member of your household has just come downstairs.

“You might want to check they are dressed because they might not realise they’re going to be live to the nation!”

As everyone on the phone call laughed, Ben pried: “Who’s that lurking behind you?”

  • Martin Lewis warning on bad mortgage holiday practices

Edwina responded, chuckling: “That is former detective super intendant John Jones from the MET – who had his birthday yesterday.”

Positioning her head in front of the camera to cover him up, she added: “I’m kind of trying to hide him!”

“Yes, he looks very suspicious lurking behind you,” Ben added. “I’m assuming he was never undercover because he’s pretty useless so far!”

Kate pried further, demanding answers: “What is going on? Why is he there, Edwina?”

Prompting the former politician to respond: “I don’t think he understands what Skype is all about.”

Kate queried: “Does he think it’s a telephone call, and he’s strangely invisible?” to which the man shouted: “Yes!”

The hosts then pushed past this hiccup, and went back to Adrian – who clarified things for viewers, as he pointed out: “I don’t think Edwina mentioned: She’s actually married to that man!”

Fans of the show were beside themselves, as they spoke out on Twitter, with one writing: “Bloke coming down the stairs looking dishevelled in Edwina Currie’s house, hope it’s her husband #GMB.”
